Take a brand new, spacious and sunny, 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom home add an elevated rural outlook and situate it at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac and you have Thom House. With only a 5 minute drive to the estuary, surf beach, shops and restaurants this is a perfect base for your family holiday in Mangawhai Heads.

The house has been thoughtfully designed and tastefully furnished and is an entertainers delight with its lovely kitchen with large butlers pantry and indoor/outdoor flow onto a large deck. There is now also a pool table in the garage/games room. Northcoast place is a quiet family-friendly cul-de-sac where kids play together and ride their bikes and scooters around.

Mangawhai is the perfect summer holiday destination or coastal retreat. With its beautiful swimming and surf beaches and abundant marine life, Mangawhai is a popular spot for sailing, fishing, surfing, diving and summer family fun. The clear waters of the estuary provide safe family swimming, and the secluded white sand beaches of Te Arai and Pakiri are a short drive away.

Enjoyed our stay with everything needed. The living area inbeween the 2 rooms can have a bit of a draft coming through the blinds. Will stay there again.

It was perfect for our little family.

We had a wonderful time. It was a good base for exploring waipu. It is definitely a summer house though.

Peaceful hideaway

We loved the area and especially the quiet streets where the kids can ride their bikes. Also love the big yard for the kids to play outside. We did miss the TV due to the weather not being great, but I imagine in summer this would not be the case.

Exceeded expections.

Two week fishing trip, my brother and I. The facilities were way better than described so we were pleasantly surprised. Would also suit two couples or a couple with kids. Huge yard for tents and parking. Good facilities for washing the boat so long as you are conscious of water usage. Well equipped kitchen needs potato masher. Wifi good. Beds comfy, bathroom great. Thankyou Batchstay, Highly recommended.

Very Comfortable Place To Relax

The bach is in a quiet neighbourhood, well sited for sun but with plenty of ventilation to keep reasonably cool in summer. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and could easily accommodate 4 people. The was enough equipment in the kitchen to allow self catering, but there are enough eating places in Mangawhai for those that prefer that approach.It is some distance to the water, shops and restaurants, so a car is really required. Being in Mangawhai, it runs off tank water and septic tanks - which is easy enough to adjust to.We enjoyed our stay, and would be happy to return in future.

Summer Sun and Relax!

Very clean and functional with quirky indoor deck for lounge. Lounge great for day although we felt a bit exposed at night without any curtains in that area. Loved the bifolds. (Would have been great to have the rear strip of lights in lounge area able to be turned off/on in kitchen as well as the main bedroom.) Location is a ood base for day trips and access to Mangawhai highlights - easy walk to Wood St shops and eateries. We made daily use of the track around the golf course. Easy contour and peaceful. Great way to start the day! Great array of books & games. Sketch pads and pencils provided some down time for adult children :) Unfortunately we didn't make use of the kayaks. Next time! Enjoyed our week.
