Hi Ann, Thank you for your review; we're thrilled that you enjoyed your stay. The views are indeed spectacular, and they bring a variety of weather experiences at that height. We agree that it has been quite hot at night recently. While there are ceiling fans in each room to help keep the temperature down, there is no air conditioning upstairs, only downstairs, as a note for future guests we do recommend the use of the ceiling fans. Hi Nicolle, I am sorry to hear your disappointment. The house next door is nearly finished and it was our understanding that there was no significant noise during the day and other guests during the week haven't mentioned disruption (there is no construction on weekends under council rules). Unfortunately this house was due to be completed by Xmas and has dragged on due to COVID, supply delays, etc and we are hoping it shouldn't be much longer. Once it is completed we plan to updatee the photos as there is not much point prior as things ahve changed as the building has been completed. Also the fact there is a building next door shouldn't impact stays as it doesn't in any way impede the view and there are no living areas of the new house that look into the property. Lastly, it is hard to advise re general construction as there can be construction going on anywhere and distant construction shouldn't create any significant noise and is outside our and the owners control.
