Waterfront Family Cottage with Private Beach and Hot Tub

Family Friendly Cottage on a flat property with a private beach, wade in shallow sandy water, canoe, kayak, two Sup’s, beach toys and chairs all on a quiet bay of Baptiste Lake which is part of a three chain lake with great fishing (bass, pike, pickerel, lake trout, etc). An oversized lily pad for swimming, a large dock (so bring your boat), a custom fire pit and a treehouse! Great for kids!
We have a 5 seater hot tub and a large deck for entertaining with outdoor dining set, lounging set and a bbq (propane included). Our cottage is located less than 10 minutes to the town of Bancroft with all amenities (groceries, lcbo, brewery, shopping)!
Inside is newly renovated with 3 Spacious bedrooms- king bed, queen bed and twin over double bunk bed. The living room, kitchen and dining room are very open over looking the peaceful, scenic lake! We have strong unlimited wifi, a smart tv and satellite. Note: guests provide their own linens, towels, paper towel, toilet paper, dish soap, toiletries and drinking water (a water dispenser is provided that holds 15 L and 18 L jugs of water).

Great snowmobile location

A fantastic location to use as a base for snowmobiling from. Being right on Baptiste Lake, the trail runs across the lake, with multiple options for touring each day. And Shannon and Chris were very accommodating. Would definitely return

To start, Shannon and Chris, are very responsive, informative, kind hosts and you can tell they take great pride in their cottage. We were blown away by how clean and well appointed the space was and then the views just sealed the deal! Within 10 minutes of unpacking we knew we would be visiting again year after year! The location is easy to get to, just 10 minutes from downtown Bancroft and because it’s on a private road with no cottages across the lake it feels very private. Yes, as someone mentioned there is another cottage that is fairly close on the one side but the owners of that place were very quiet and did not bother us all week. We truly can’t wait to visit again.

Great stay

We had a lovely time and really enjoyed the property and the lake. Cottage is nice and open, lots of windows and natural light. Peaceful lake, great fishing. Host was quick to respond. Would recommend and stay again!

Fabulous

Had a great time. The cottage was sparkling clean,great water front nice sandy beach. Very quiet and relaxing with beautiful landscape surrounding you a must stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Weekend Getaway

The perfect place for a cottage getaway. Wonderful venue for winter activities, cloae to sledding, snowmobiling, skating. Hottub was a wonderful experience under the stars after a cold day. Clean, well stocked, comfy and good room for our family of 4. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay perfect. If I could give this 6 stars, absolutely would. Will definitely be booking for the summer!

Amazing Getaway

We were a family group looking for relaxation and fun on the water and our stay at Shannon's place couldn't have been more perfect. The cottage itself was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The main bedroom had a view of the lake that was spectacular to wake up too. The kitchen had everything needed to cook a variety of meals, I always bring things just in case but this time I really didn't need to at all. Everyone from kids to adults had a blast trying out the stand up paddle boards, and relaxing in the hot tub was a great way to end the day. The lake was absolutely beautiful and very peaceful, felt very safe and calm for kids swimming and kayaking around. We really loved that the cottage was just a short drive away from Bancroft which had a No frills and a Dollarama for a few things that we had forgot, prices were also pretty well the same as at home so next time I wouldn't even bother packing as much and just do a grocery run on arrival. Shannon was also a pleasure to communicate with, and was very quick to get back to us when we had a few little questions. This was one of our favorite cottage stays.
