Perched on the top floor of our boutique complex, The Penthouse is a luxurious coastal haven offering sweeping views over Shaws Bay, the Richmond River, and the Pacific Ocean beyond. Just 150 metres from the calm, inviting waters of Shaws Bay, it’s the ideal setting for a morning swim, kayak or stand-up paddleboard session, or a peaceful walk along the shoreline.



Designed for relaxation and effortless entertaining, The Penthouse features four spacious bedrooms and two beautifully appointed bathrooms. The master suite includes a private ensuite, while the main bathroom is a retreat in itself, complete with a deep soaking tub.



At the heart of the home is a bright, open-plan living area that captures the natural beauty of the surrounds. Large windows and sliding doors invite the outside in, filling the space with coastal light and breezes. The fully equipped kitchen, complete with modern appliances and ample bench space, connects seamlessly to the dining and lounge areas—perfect for gathering with family or friends.



Step out onto the balcony to enjoy your morning coffee with a sunrise, or toast the evening with a glass of wine as you watch the boats drift by.

Property was gorgeous - had everything. Very beautifully and practically furnished, ducted aircon had temp control for every room, single chair in the corner and lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the spectacular view. Katya was welcoming and fixed any issues quickly.

Excellent apartment.

Spent the weekend there with the family and had an excellent time. Communication and help was never far away. The house is nice and well equipped, but a pair of binoculars would be excellent to have for the whale watching.

Amazing views

This was a beautifully set up property with the most wonderful views and access to water. The 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms was great for a group of our size. Katya was a very communicative host and provided information to us as needed which was very reassuring.

A great place to stay in Ballina

We stayed for 5 nights at this property to spend Xmas with family in Ballina. The apartment is a delight, comfortably and stylishly furnished with magnificent views over Shaw’s Bay and out to the ocean. It is an easy walk down to Shaw’s Bay and a quick drive to a surf beach. Katya is a great host, communicating well and offering to provide recommendations for restaurants, etc. We had a lovely holiday here and would gladly return when next visiting the area.

Very comfortable and great views. Well set up. Excellent communication and easy access via coded lock box.Vehicle access interesting, and the only outdoor usable area is a thin verandah (this is only something we notice as we come from the bush)

The penthouse is beautiful, modern and roomy. We had five adults, a toddler and a baby and there was plenty of room. It has everything you could possibly need for your stay. The view is just amazing and it is visible from kitchen, dining and lounge rooms. Also room on the balcony for drinks and more view watching. Shaw’s Bay Hotel and a fish &chips, pizza etc shop are a short walk away. Near Ballina town centre with cafes, supermarkets, clothing and jewelry stores - very close by as well. Highly recommend a stay at The Penthouse Lazy Days on Shaws Bay.
