It was a great stay for a family gathering. Plenty of outdoor space, an excellent kitchen, kid and pet friendly and we loved the history and character of the house. Stunning views. A treat to stay at. It was perfect.

So cute!! It truly feels like the professor has opened his home to you. We loved playing the old records on the turntable—it added such a fun touch. The management was exceptional and communication was great throughout our stay.

We were only there for a short time but a wonderful property with everything we needed. Felt like we were at home. A very special place.

Memorable trip

We loved the Professor’s house, great jazz wonderful books, beautiful views and a cosy house what more could you want on a winter break. Felt special to share in his wonderful family home. There was plenty of room, comfy beds, and a great shower. The sourdough loaf was much appreciated and completely consumed. We would love to come back and have the summer experience later in the year.

Beautiful home with sea views from every room

Large house with fantastic kitchen and books galore! The library is an absolute dream, such a wonderful place to relax. Cosy in winter and would be gorgeous in summer with the large garden. Fantastic shower with lovely hot water. Especially loved the dining room overlooking the sea and garden. Kids loved the big soft toys upstairs! Absolute privilege to be able to stay and enjoy the Professor's incredible collections, thank you for sharing this with us.

The house was lovely, location perfect and presented clean and stocked well with appliances and essentials in the pantry. The only issue was the gutters and spouting-we had a bit of rain and many are blocked and growing weeds. Ie in some places the water was overflowing g like waterfalls. Also we think you have birds or rats in the ceiling of two top bedrooms. We have a similar problem in our pitched roof.
