Sandpiper is a low density three story complex. Enjoy watching the waves roll in as you sit on this direct beachfront balcony. This unique V shape building and shared common area walkway in front of each condo lends to a friendly get to know your neighbor atmosphere. Family reunions, large groups of people traveling together and individual families choose this property often. The tropical courtyard, seasonally-heated swimming pool (mid-March through October, as needed) and grilling areas give Sandpiper an ambiance all its own. It is a highly requested property and has the most repeat guests.

The unit has been updated in recent years and is better than ever. We have begun to rebook it every year now because it is a great condo right on a beautiful beach, everything we need is nearby and there is no better company to deal with than Bender, they always respond quickly to any needs.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our 2nd year to stay in Sandpiper 16B. The condo is updated and spacious. I would suggest bringing some storage containers with lids with you because there are not any in the unit. In years past, everyone placed their beach chairs, umbrellas, etc... in areas underneath the building with zero issues but this year several people had items taken. We had a brand new Cabana and umbrella taken. Someone else in our group had a brand new beach chair taken. I would suggest bringing some type of cable lock with you to secure your items. Bender is great at responding to any issues you may have during your stay, so don’t hesitate to call them.

November vacation

We were prepared for cool weather, but were pleasantly surprised. It was sunny and in the 70's everyday. We stayed at Sandpiper 16B. The condo was beautiful. We sat in the swing on the balcony and watched the beach restoration crew working. It was fascinating to see how it's done. The pool was heated and we made use of it daily. The condo was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. There was no wait at any of the restaurants and no traffic to contend with. We may just make a November beach vacation a tradition!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have always loved this condo and so glad they updated it. We love the short distance to the beach, we love the swing on the deck and the way it points towards the sunset. We will probably continue to return here for years to come. However this trip was busier than ever before. The beach was very crowded and that would be ok except for Ike’s beach chair and umbrella business literally taking three quarters of the beach front in front of the Sandpiper. We always bring our own chairs and umbrella and since they set their stuff up at 6 am it is hard to get a spot. What is worse, some of their stuff sat unused all day while we looked at the back of their chairs. I hope the owners read this and can do something about it because Bender could not.

Beds are comfortable but bring your own pillows. Baking sheets and skillets need to be replaced. There is only 1 dish towel and a sponge (not a dish cloth). Ample amount of dishes and cooking. Since I have booked the unit for next year, I know what I need to bring with me for my stay.

One suggestion I would have is to offer more kitchenware (storage containers, garlic press, plastic cups for pool, etc. Also, the towels provided were not in the best condition and the furniture in the living room needs to be cleaned (recliners had visible stains).
