KI Family Holiday

A great house to stay in with the family. The adults and kids loved it. Very clean, gorgeous view and could enjoy family time together with a view to eat and play board games together. Very relaxing stay.

Kingscote KI, short break

Property was clean and well equipped for lots of people. In quiet location with water views. Lots of birdlife. Would stay there again.

Great house and position

Kingscote is the place to stay on kangaroo island and this house is close to all the facilities. The relaxing feel and the great bay views make it the place stay. Good facilities in the house and lots of space.

Beautiful beach front home and location

Couldn't ask for a better home to begin our holiday. Check in and out process was very simple. The location was breath taking. Beautiful views and very close to the city amenities. Would highly recommend this location to any looking to spend holiday on kangaroo island. Make sure you stay several days.

Excellent home base for exploring KI

The Sandcastle was perfect for our needs while on KI for 4 days. Great esplanade location with amazing views. We had a rainbow appear across the water most days! Comfortable living/dining/kitchen area upstairs with balcony. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing on KI

The house is great, everything you need for a getaway, some nights we stayed in after a long day of touring around KI and the cooking facilities were excellent and the views over the beach just added to the experience. 100% recommend

Wonderfully convenoent

House was great, had exactly what we needed. Stairs for upstairs area. The balcony was wonderful to sit on watching the ocean, not much traffic at all. Will be back one day.

Family visit to KI to see Relatives

Great location and lovely house. We enjoyed the beautiful view and balcony. The only drawbacks were, coffee sachets were expired in 2021 and the stove did not light without matches, which were not supplied. Small issues easily sorted.

The house was functional but maintenance was needed. Cleanliness on arrival needs to be improved eg- BBQ was dirty, cutlery drawers had crumbs in them.

It was convenient. The house had good view. Could have had a bit of lawn for kids. The house was well catered for 10 . But needs a new floor rug up stairs as was a trip hazard. We loved it and had a great time

Great location . Great views . Six adult's fitted in the house comfortably without being in each others way. Only comment is no actual hand rail on top section of stairs. Would recommend this house to anybody. Thanks for allowing us there and using the facilities. Greg

Everything you need for a great holiday

Overall we found the property more than adequate for 6 adults. Great position for with wonderful views. The kitchen had everything we needed. Only negative would be no handrail on the second level of stairs for more stability when climbing up or down. The main bedroom upstairs did require dusting. The backyard does need some weeding and maintenance. Overall we had a great stay and would return again.

RADUE family

We really enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable and the view was spectacular. The BBQ had to be cleaned before we could use it and we noticed that one of the toilets down stairs was running constantly. We battled to get in to the property on arrival as we did not have the code. We received an email before we arrived but there was no code. This was a little stressful as we struggled to get hold of someone. We emailed the host but did not get a reply until the next day. We managed to find a phone number for Vrbo and someone helped us on the phone. Otherwise we had a wonderful time on the beautiful island and would definitely come again.
