Parking: approximately 2 vehicles in front of the home, not guaranteed. Leadville's Victorian street grid was built before cars — spaces can be tight. Please park directly in front of the home and be courteous to neighbors who shovel their own spots in winter. If your group has 3+ vehicles, plan to disperse two of them to nearby blocks.
Other Things to Note:
License #003492.
ALTITUDE: Downtown Leadville sits at 10,152 feet. Plan your first 24 hours easy: drink double your usual water, ease up on alcohol, and avoid heavy exertion the day you arrive. Symptoms of altitude sickness include headache, nausea, and shortness of breath. We cannot offer refunds for altitude sickness — if you're prone, consider travel insurance.
NO A/C: Nights in Leadville run 40s–50s even in July. Windows and cross-breezes handle daytime warmth. A/C is not installed and is not needed at this elevation.

FIREPLACE: Natural gas fireplace in the main living room. Operating instructions arrive with your check-in email. Please do not burn wood or paper in the fireplace.
SPIRAL STAIRCASE: Access to the loft bedroom is via a spiral staircase. Guests with mobility issues should plan accordingly; the other three bedrooms are on the main level.
KIDS: Crib and baby gate available on request. Please request in advance so we can have them set up before your arrival.

CHECKOUT TIME: Checkout is 10:00 AM. This is earlier than some rentals — please plan departure accordingly.
QUIET HOURS: Leadville observes Quiet Hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Turning off exterior lights during those hours helps the neighborhood enjoy dark skies.
