No power and no digital distractions... the stars are gorgeous out in the country, just one hour from the city of Edmonton. Best part? NO DISHES. Load up dishes in a tote and text onsite concierge service, should you need a refresh on clean dishes. Pre-order farm fresh eggs for breakfast, or contact us to arrange a special chocolate or fruit lovers basket.
Cabin comes with complimentary warm beverages for your stay; and wood for the wood stove to keep you warm. Close proximity to Wabamun Lake, Pembina River, hiking and nature trails, get away to the 'Frontier Cabin', and experience life in the country pioneer style.

Oct. 15th to May 15th: Wood provided for the wood stove during off season, and limited water is available. Winterization in effect during off season, please plan ahead for comfy footwear and extra water.
This rental is OFF GRID - meaning NO POWER, Outhouse, cooking area is wood stove, campfire or BBQ.
Barnacle the BBQ requires a lighter assist which is provided for you. She's old. But she's a trusty steed.
Bundles of wood can be purchased for $12 for the outdoor firepit. No wood from off site to prevent the spread of tree diseases/fungus and beetles. Extra bundles may be purchased from caretaker host.
Text concierge service available during 10am and 7pm.
Absolutely NO SMOKING of any kind inside cabin; outdoors only. An additional Cleaning fee will apply if smoking rule is broken to respect other guests.
Please be aware this is farm country, there will be tractors, farmers may be tending their fields, there is wildlife. Its gorgeous, though at times we cannot predict there may be a little noise.
