Wonderful

Very nice and comfy place. Close to the sea wall and shops. Spacious for a family to be comfortable in clean and practical. Really enjoyed our stay here.

Perfect house

This house was amazing! So clean, so beautiful, and everything was perfect. Great hospitality and fantastic location. Right next to the pier and perfect view of Hotel Galvez. 10/10 would recommend - an absolutely amazing stay!

Well stocked and roomy house with fantastic location.

This is the nicest rental we’ve visited in town - normally we have to go out to Pirates Beach or Pointe West for something this nice. All updated, roomy kitchen and bedrooms and all the necessary cookware is there. Fantastic location as well. We’ll look for this one again.

Amazing location beautiful home

We came for the Izquierda festival with all of our family. We were able to walk to the beach and the festival in 5 minutes. Close to great food, pleasure pier, golf cart rentals etc. The house is beautifully remodeled leaving all of the historic charm. Perfectly equipped for a short stay but close to convenient store for longer needs. We would definitely book again.

Fantastic!

We had such a great stay at Grand Galvez Getaway. The house was spotless, super comfortable, well appointed, and the location can’t be beat-minutes from the beach! Management company also went above and beyond responding to our questions politely and promptly even after hours. This property was perfect, we would love to come back again soon!

Nice stay - will come back

house layout great as well as closeness to beach. Some noise pollution from dogs in nearby rentals, We stayed at this site previously and knew it would fit our needs - one large bedroom that could fit parents with small 2 yr old twins and 2other bedrooms on other side of house for others. House has nice linens, towels, and kitchen ware.

Family Christmas

This home was perfect for a relaxing Christmas week with our granddaughter, who is at Coast Guard Station Galveston. It is spacious with three bedrooms and two full baths. The home was exactly as advertised and the location is excellent with many restaurants nearby. The kitchen is well equipped and the furniture is comfortable. We had two small dogs so the fenced yard and electric gate were appreciated.

Pre cruise

Property was very clean and well kept. Gate code did not work but remote did. Wish there was more than 1 towel per person. Overall would book again and recommend.

Beautiful, spacious house and great location

The house was well designed. The primary suite was on one side of the house, which provided separation, if needed. The other two bedrooms were spacious and had good closet space. Both bathrooms were well designed. The front yard and back yard were connected and fenced in, so Roxy the Dog was able to enjoy the yard. Parking is available in the back yard via the alley. The beach, seawall, Murdoch’s was just a short walk away. We hope to be back next year.

Mardi Gras

Property was excellent, so comfortable and clean, would go back, but need to talk to neighbors on corner they have a dog they leave out all the time and he barks non stop. Sad for dog and does get on your nerves after a while. But hopefully if that taken care of , the property is a 10+

great location, nice place

Everything was nice, stylish and well-equipped. My 2 kids enjoyed having their own bedrooms, and it was nice that the master was remote. Very easy walk to the beach, Miller's Grill and Murdoch's. The older Keurig was a little tricky to get more than a few tablespoons of coffee from, but they had a regular coffee pot too. I couldn't get the back gate to open from the outside keypad so we just parked in the front and never had any issues. Those are tiny things that didn't bother us much at all, and everything else really was perfect. Our bed was really comfortable. Overall, a very nice place. 5 stars.

Why thank you Paul, we're so glad you had a 5-star experience! We have since replaced the Keurig, it seems it met its demise. May it RIP. We haven't had anyone mention challenges with the back gate, but we will certainly check again. We hope to host you again!

Thank you for staying with us. We're not sure what would have made your stay better (?) and are disappointed to hear your experience was anything less than all 5-stars. This is certainly a well-loved guest home as evidenced by the previous reviews. Maybe the weather didn't cooperate as you had hoped? Regardless, sorry your stay was anything short of wonderful.
