“Our family really enjoyed our stay! The location was great, and the rental itself was clean, comfortable, and had a cozy, homey feel. The kids loved having space to run around in the fenced-in backyard, and we especially enjoyed relaxing by the fire pit in the evening. Communication with the host was excellent—They were very responsive and quick to answer any questions we had. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. We had a wonderful time at this cottage. It was clean spacious and very comfortable. We cooked all of our meals in the well laid out kitchen and had plenty of room to relax. The proximity to the ski hill was incredible and it was also close to town for groceries. The hosts were easy to communicate with. 10/10 we will return!

Very clean quiet a little trouble operating the telivison but with a little luck was able to cast prime video and watch jays game no complaints we were more than happy with everything Hope they will have us back next time we visit Huntsville

We loved this little house. It was well furnished and had everything we needed. Big fenced back yard was perfect for the pooch. Very quiet area too! Would definitely stay there again!

I would definitely book this cottage again. We were at a wedding in the area so the location was perfect. Our family of 4 had lots of room to get ready. Both the living room and the kitchen was perfect for hanging out. If it didn’t rain all weekend we would have made use of the outdoor deck and backyard fire pit. I’m really happy we found this cottage.

Cozy country chalet

This chalet has great proximity to both hidden valley resort and Huntsville. The host was easy to communicate with. The chalet is rustic and cozy with spacious bedrooms. There have obviously been pets there in the past so not for you if you are sensitive to this. Also make sure you are equipped to use chrome cast if you want to watch TV.

Lovely cottage with amazing outdoor space for family.

Our family of 6 stayed at the cottage. It is really lovely, with spacious common area in the upstairs living area and kitchen. The master bedroom is also roomy and has a walk out to the fire pit which we also enjoyed very much. Fresh towels, linens and accessible laundry facilities were appreciated. Atul responded quickly to any questions we had.

Weekend stay

Very nice spot to relax for a weekend with a nice outdoor area. However the cottage needs a deep clean as many areas were quite dusty and dirty, especially the ceiling fan and couch. The kitchen supplies were limited as well for six people. Overall a nice cottage but upkeep needs improvement.

The location was great. Wifi was great. Had all that was needed in the kitchen. This property did not have a bathroom on the bedrooms level and stairs were steep and narrow. The tv could not be used unless you knew how to operate apps and cast them to the tv. We were not able to watch it. I would not recommend it unless you have no problems climbing stairs. Not recommended for seniors with any mobility issues. The beds were comfortable. The air conditioning was good which was lucky because we had to stay inside because the septic smell was very strong outside. On a good note the wedding we attended was lovely.

Family Day Weekend Fun

Exactly as described, a cozy cottage close to everything we needed. Ours was a winter stay with snow falling non stop. Atul had contracted a snow removal service which kept shovelling to minimum! We used the kitchen for every meal, and it was adequately stocked with everything we needed for prep, cooking and service of each. Our favourite spot on the property was the outdoor fire pit…took a couple of hours of shovelling to get too, but worth every second. Each night, surrounded by four feet of snow, we enjoyed the warmth of a unique fire setting. Highly recommend this property to any reading this review! Cheers

Beautiful quiet well maintained property with nothing needed to enjoy a great weekend away. Had a lot of time to wind down. Property manager quick to respond. I will be back again. Our family enjoyed our stay in Hidden Valley. The house was easy to find and get in to. The space inside was very nice, appreciated the little extra things here and there like cozy throw blankets. I personally think the photos on the listing do not do it justice - the bathroom was much roomier than expected and we didn’t even realize there would be a sizeable deck. Sharing 1 bathroom with a big family gets difficult but we knew that when we booked so it worked out well enough for just a couple days. My only real complaint about inside was the master bed; the mattress seems old - very soft and sinks into the middle. So I did not sleep very well. We were disappointed that we were not able to use the fire pit due to a fire ban in the area, so we ended up not really exploring the outside of the property. Over all though, we had a great time here. The location is nice, we were able to spend a day in Algonquin Park and also spent half a day canoeing on Oxtongue River. Plenty of adventurous things to do around there! We would recommend this place.

Needs more care

Good location, friendly host. But the Cottage needs more cleaning (the fridge was dirty, we found rotten tomatos in it, neded to clean first), found Mouse droppings under the kitchen sink, mouse bites in our Toast. And it needs more love. The nice big chairs in the garden are rotten and falling apart. Looks like nobody cares about this Cottage anymore
