We appreciated the various gated areas on the property to keep our dog's safe while visiting. Visitors should be aware that the cabin is located right off US-2 across from a train track so there is some noise at night. The back side of the property is lovely, right on the river with ample yard space. The house was clean with sufficient amenities and the host was communicative, making our check-in/out process easy.

It was a great place! The train kept us up through the night which was the only down fall but other then the train being very close and the road being very close. It was a great clean house and the property was beautiful.

Epic Riverfront Mountain Retreat

We enjoyed every nook and cranny of this property and the home is a delight with all the comforts of home and more! The foggy mornings and the starry nights in the hot tub are magical! We will definitely be back!!

Loved everything about our stay here ! The train is pretty close to the cabin. But we got used to it pretty quickly. It rained for two days straight during our visit but we enjoyed the coziness of the cabin inside.

It’s a lovely property with a beautiful view. We enjoyed our time there. Very private. I would give the cleaners a 3 out of 5. The cookware is wrecked. The knives are dangerously dull. Don’t try to use the vegetable peeler.

Lovely getaway

Was really nice to have the dog run for our boys. River access was beautiful! Close enough to the train that you can hear it a lot but if those sorts of noises don't get to you (I stop noticing pretty quickly) it's kind of nice how close to the main road it is.

Great relaxing stay

We had a lovely weekend at the river cabin. We didn't leave once we arrived and had everything we needed. We had tweens with us, which meant we didn't have to worry about the river. I would worry with younger kids, it was pretty fast when we were there. There was no way to swim. The house had everything we needed, but the toaster should be replaced and the coffee machine had a little mold. Everything else was great though and the hot tub was perfect. The noise didn't bother us much at all. Overall, it was a great stay, we'd love to come back when the river is lower.

We're happy to hear you had a great stay and appreciate the feedback - I'll have our housekeeping check the toaster and coffee machine. We definitely recommend keeping a watch on younger kiddos at all times, and when the river is as high as it is in May & early June, river swimming is not recommended. We'd love to welcome you back in the future - August is a great choice for a lower river level. You can find a better rate and no additional booking/ service fee at our site under Tree Line Rentals.
