Mareazul is a first world vacation rental concept "Resort Living". Located only 3 km from Playa del Carmen all units are beach accessible.
Mareazul Resort has a huge Infinity pool, with Jacuzzi sections, and is less than 200 meters walk through green path walks and pools that would take you to Mareazul beach.
The resort amenities are among others *Gym with dressing and lockers area, *massage rooms, Zen zone areas to read and relax, Lobby, convenience store, concierge front desk, just a short walk to an 18 Holes Golf Course designed by Nick Price, (additional cost). We loved our stay at Mareazul and in this unit. The location is amazing! Close to the beach and pool. Incredible sunrise views and loved the patio. Everything in the places was as described and very comfortable for a family of 6. Super nice! Only two issues we had that still dont really make sense (so know if you book this unit): 1) We told them we were 6 people but they only provided bedding comforters for 4 people. In one room there are bunk beds. They provided sheets for all 4 beds, but did not provide comforters or blankets for the 2 top bunk beds (Weird). We bought blankets in town since they would not provide any blankets for us. So if more than 4 people plan on that. 2) The pool outside the unit is only half filled. Not sure why but looks like it has been that way a long time. Other units pools were completely filled. Other than that the place is amazing and highly recommend it!

Such a lovely stay for our family! Gorgeous unit, it was so nice to watch the sun (and moon!) rise each day. The hosts were very accommodating with all of our questions. The only part we were disappointed with is that the splash pool was not filled, it looked like it was closed for maintenance or something but that's something we missed out on.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This units pool was not working. there was about 3 inches of water in it and it was dirty. Only one of the two air conditioners was working. The beach was full of seaweed and you cannot use the beach or go in the water. There was construction going on above us during the day.

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was OK, grounds were well kept but the facility and pool was old, outdated. Lots of construction on going in the development and near the unit. Debris and nails were found in the pool daily. The unit was minimally cleaned and wasn’t supplied with enough or quality bathing linens/towels. The AC leaked heavily, the swim up pool need to be cleaned and was unusable. Beach had a large amount of trash and seaweed,

Amazing Stay

We had a wonderful time! The condo was breathtaking with views of the Caribbean ocean and the beach. It was perfect! Can’t wait to book for next year!

Postcard picture in Playa

Family of 4 stayed for a week. Loved the condo and Monica and her staff were the absolute best to answer all our questions and help with anything we could have needed. Condo is fully equipped with stunning view of ocean - better than the pictures. Restaurants on site were delicious and there’s a little store with snacks and small goods. We rented a car and had no issues navigation ourselves around they city. Just pack your swimsuit and enjoy.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: A beautiful beachfront view and location was perfect for access to the beach (unfortunately seaweed on some days), to the community pool and to the two restaurants on site. The rooms were clean and the kitchen had everything needed to cook and the 5gal of purified water provided was a plus! We felt very safe. Both the breakfast/lunch and lunch/dinner restaurants were reasonably priced, all meals were delicious/presentation awesome and highly recommend eating there (staff were very pleasant). Unfortunately the private pool was more like a wading pool and we could not figure out how to convert equipment/TV to English (written instructions would have been nice). All in all it was a wonderful 2-couple getaway stay!
