Wonderful spot. Very quiet and secluded. The walk along the beach was amazing and the hot tub was a nice addition. We read books and cooked in the kitchen, explored the area and found wineries and good food within 40 minutes drive. Do go to Burnt Coat Park...so worth it.

This is an absolutely beautiful property with incredible views, waterfront access and I cannot express enough the breathtaking difference between high tide and low tide. An unforgettable experience and a wonderful host who was very communicative and made our stay all the better. I can’t recommend this place enough!

Our stay here was great overall - house is spacious, views are amazing, outdoor space wonderful. Good communication with host and lovely area to explore. The basement area which is where the tv is and the only king bed was cold and there were lots of bugs. Fortunately didn’t need to spend much time down there. Overall really nice place.

The photos do not do this property justice!!! We throughly enjoyed staying here! It is spacious inside & out! Great access to the beach…we spent hours down there everyday and usually had the place to ourselves! Our dog LOVED being able to explore! Our Host made sure we did not have a single want during our stay!!! Magnificent!

The property and the location were perfect for our vacation. The hot tub and the firepit outside along with the other patio furniture were great, and the spacious living room was very cozy in the evening with the fireplace. The large windows facing the water caught magnificent sunsets and with a good pair of binoculars we could see Parrsboro on the other side of the basin. Every morning we’d make the trek down the back yard to the shore to investigate the tides and hunt for sea glass! Great stay!

This spot is able to handle and sleep 8 people easily. There is an open space living space with big windows, a kitchen which is fully equipped, a propane fireplace, an excellent outdoor furniture. The basement has a games room, TV and a bar plus of course another bedroom. The three bedroom on the mainfloor were all comfortable. We had great time. There are lots of places around Kempt Shore to discover. The communication with the host was excellent. The information provided covered all aspects. Thank you.

Perfect spot for a getaway with friends- comfortable rooms, well equipped kitchen, large deck and hot tub was a bonus. Magnificent views of the bay from the house and while walking along the beach. Girls Getaway

I was tasked to find a place for us for a weekend getaway that was not too far, had a hot tub, etc. etc. etc. This beautiful location checked all the boxes, and then some! We had deer greet us each morning and evening. We had a bit of a hard time finding the path to the beach but once we found it, it did not disappoint! We toured the area and supported local wineries and went to The Flying Apron for brunch which I would highly recommend! We will be back!!

We enjoyed our stay at the house. Direct access to the beach was great, and the deck has lots of space and seating – we enjoyed the hot tub. The house was generally comfortable for six adults. The kitchen has a good selection of pots, dishes, etc. Laundry facilities were excellent. The house had a good supply of essentials like dish soap, toilet paper, etc. The host was responsive when we had questions.Our first impression was a bit tarnished by the broken ‘brickwork’ on the front entryway. There were several things that didn’t seem to function quite right – the door on the downstairs shower leaked every time, a light in the kitchen didn’t work, and there were more insects downstairs, mostly spiders, than seemed normal. One of the screen doors was bent and didn’t seem to close securely.The website doesn’t give much info on the layout which would have been useful to me. The king-sized bedroom is down some fairly steep stairs. It has no closet or anywhere to hang clothes, or window coverings (not for privacy but light). The other three bedrooms are on the main floor (one queen with an en suite half bath), with the other bathroom. The TV is downstairs, not in the main living area. Not an issue for us but I would have wanted to know this when my children were younger. Another feature which makes this more of a four-star rating was the lack of bedside tables and lamps. All queen/king bedrooms had one lamp and table I think, some had two tables – but not two lamps.

This property is what rural dreams are made out of. The property was clean, welcoming with fresh cut flowers, stocked kitchen, air-conditioned, and one of the most beautiful views you're ever going to see. If you want to kick back and relax, this is the place for you. If you want to play lively games with your family, like we did, there is plenty of room. We never went without anything. Didn't have to ask for a single thing. It was all there, we just had a great time and made a tonne of memories. The walk to the beach was easy, you do have to watch the tide schedule, but even at high tide we could still spend time beach combing and relaxing. The Flying Apron Cafe is a few minutes away, and probably has some of the best food I've ever eaten.There's a small convenience store account 20 minutes away. We did a trip to the Quarry, a local swimming hole, it was fantastic. We did a day trip to Windsor where we enjoyed the newly located Naked Crepe Cafe. We did an afternoon at Smileys Provincial Park. It's a little gem of a park with picnic tables, a new playground, and little creek you could walk down, water shoes recommended for this.Jen and Susan were great to communicate with. Very timely. Don't miss out on booking this home.
