We're so glad you enjoyed your time and experienced fishing success! This is quite the cool bayside spot. We did have to swap the grill, but we replaced it with the same type and just went with a Weber brand. We appreciate the feedback and will look into potentially larger options. As for the furniture cushions, they are steam cleaned regularly but cream is a tough color for folks using bronzers, sunscreens, sand, and such at the beach. We sorry if they looked a bit dingy and will access what can be done to brighten them up. We're happy to hear you appreciated the cleanliness and configuration of the house and the community pool was a big hit!

We do want to acknowledge that you raised several concerns during your visit. Our team responded promptly and went onsite to address the items reported even over the Thanksgiving holiday. Homes in our area, and especially ones directly on the water like this one, do come with added sand, salt air, and humidity which can sometimes affect things like odors, doors, outdoor furnishings, and mechanical components despite regular maintenance and inspections. While we’re sorry the home did not meet your expectations for the rate paid, we’re glad our staff was available and responsive throughout your stay. It truly is a beautiful spot.

Thank you, this is a great coastal location Liza and appreciate you noting. We're sorry if you felt we were uncaring as that certainly wasn't our goal. All of our homes are on regular pest control, and this home is no exception. Unfortunately, just like humans, creatures (like cockroaches) seek higher ground with the threat of flooding (Tropical Storm Alberto) on the coast and island and understandably so. There just isn't much we can do about it; however, we would love to control Mother Nature. Given our staff members are all local, we too were contending with the challenges events like this create from access to communication to safety concerns to buggers. We appreciate you allowing us to host you in this lovely home and hope you consider a return under less eventful skies.
