Charmante maison en pierre entièrement rénovée au confluent des 3 rivières

Le Stonehouse historique de la Confluence, construit en 1920 et entièrement rénové en 2017, se trouve sur les rives de la rivière Casselman, où il rencontre la rivière Youghiogheny et le ruisseau Laurel Hill. Il est situé sur un terrain d'angle d'un demi-acre dans les endroits les plus recherchés.
La maison peut accueillir de 8 à 10 personnes avec 4 chambres à l'étage et un canapé-lit pour les invités qui ne grimpent pas les escaliers dans le salon. Il y a 3 salles de bain complètes.
La maison est charmante et spacieuse avec des planchers de bois franc partout. Alors que tout est neuf et moderne, les charmes d'une maison construite il y a près de 100 ans sont présents. Avec une toute nouvelle cuisine bien équipée ouverte sur une magnifique salle à manger, c'est la maison idéale pour les familles ou les groupes d'amis. Il a un grand porche idéal pour se détendre et une arrière-cour avec bain à remous au bord de la rivière et une grande cour de niveau parfaite pour lancer un ballon de football ou de maïs. La maison est à distance de marche des commerces, des restaurants et de la piste cyclable GAP. Faites votre choix parmi les 3 rivières pour pêcher ou détendez-vous simplement sur le porche en écoutant les rivières et les oiseaux.
Entièrement rénové récemment - tout est flambant neuf. Les équipements incluent: bain à remous, foyer au gaz, TV / câble, laveuse / sécheuse, Internet haute vitesse / wifi, gril à gaz, lecteur DVD, air conditionné, foyer extérieur.
Faites une journée de natation, de navigation de plaisance ou de pêche au lac Yough ou faites du vélo sur la piste cyclable GAP. Ou allez pêcher sans quitter la cour! We had an absolutely delightful trip, thanks to Kara and this beautiful home! We are very appreciative! Proximity to the GAP was excellent. The town is charming. The home has a lovely yard and a magnificent view of the river. We so very much enjoyed the hot tub and chairs around the fire pit. Also lovely to have coffee on the porch in the mornings. Comfortable beds. Very well appointed kitchen. Three bathrooms. Everything was carefully prepared for us. I highly recommend this home.

Stonehouse is a perfect place for a trip to this area of PA. The home is historic but updated and cozy. The setting along the river is peaceful. We welcomed the train whistles and enjoyed watching them from the porch. The host communicated with us before and during the stay to make sure everything was good and we were happy with the accommodations. It’s a short and scenic drive to Flight 93 Memorial, Falling Water and Ohiopyle. The River’s Edge restaurant is a gem. Exceptional food and service. Highly recommend Stonehouse.

We all loved this beautiful house right on the river! The lawn with the fire pit and hot tub was so relaxing and fun for all. The short walk along the river and across the bridge to the downtown and playground was great! The house layout is wonderful with enough room for a large group with children. The kitchen is well stocked along with enough towels, soap, etc in the bathrooms. It was the perfect house and location for our family to celebrate my husband's 70th birthday! The owner, Kara, is so nice to work with and very helpful! Highly recommend!

Fantastic weekend getaway

Myself and five friends had a wonderful time here. Spacious kitchen for great group meals, fantastic porch for some reading, great hot tub and fire pit for outdoor relaxation and views of the river. Already planning our return trip!

This was the most perfect place for a six girl gathering. We stayed here to be in the center of all things outdoors - biking and hiking! The house is beautiful and clean. It had everything we needed. We spent most of our time outdoors at the firepit or on the couches in the evening. Highly recommend this beautiful place!

Mountain getaway

Stone House was very nice and roomy for our group of six. It had lots of old charm but the kitchen was nice and modern. We loved the hot tub and fire pit also.

Perfect Riverside Getaway!

Plenty of room in this renovated historic house. We really enjoyed having enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone in our party. We also enjoyed the outdoor amenities - the front porch, fire pit area, and fishing in the river. This was a great location for a "home base" for our bike trip.

continued from Riverhouse.... ahhh the Stonehouse. One day my sister called and told me that the Stonehouse was for sale. Our parents almost bought this house when we were kids but they passed it up. I was forever disappointed because I already had a love for stone houses. I think my mom didn't like the kitchen. We weren't planning on another vacation rental, but I always had my eye on that house. I immediately called the realtor. She warned me that it was in rough shape. We took a look, came up with a plan for renovations (kitchen was ground zero) and decided to go for it.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

When we purchased the Stonehouse, she was in bad shape (ask me for photos). Built in 1920 with local rock, she was sturdy but had fallen under disrepair over the years. It took a complete renovation to bring her back to life. From the hardwood floors, to moving walls to completely redesigning the kitchen and bathrooms to insulation to heating and air, to new windows and everything in between. I think she was worth saving and the final product is something we are extremely proud of. We hope you will enjoy your stay and notice the love and care that went into what you see today.

The Stonehouse has an inviting and spacious foyer, living and dining room with refinished hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen and bathrooms are brand new. The stone fireplace with gas insert makes the living room a great gathering space when you aren't enjoying the porch and backyard outdoor living space and hot tub. The view of the rivers is amazing with ducks and other wildlife flying by. One step out of the car from a long drive and instantly you are on vacation!
Don't forget the convenience to town, bike trail and of course the rivers.
