Beautiful home, Amazing views! Very well equipped kitchen, just missing a blender.The king size beds were very comfortable.Big hot tub. We were able to fit 5 large vehicles in the driveway. The only real complaint would be the carpet in the main bedroom, definitely tell dogs had peed on it. We enjoyed our stay!

Incredible Views! 5-Star House

This was one of the nicest VRBO rental homes my wife and I have ever stayed in. Super clean, has everything you need, great location and the views of Lake Lure and the mountains are spectacular. Very serene and private. Coffee on the top deck in the morning was very relaxing. Communication from the company that manages the property was very professional. Highly recommend this house for families, couples and we will definitely look to rent this home again.

Overall this was a beautiful home in a gorgeous neighborhood just minutes from Rumbling Bald resort. The good: Lots of space and comfortable beds. The hot tub was fabulous and the view from the main floor was breath-taking. Needs attention: We experienced a leak in the master bathroom that came through the ceiling into the downstairs living space. The appliances are not easy to understand and there was no instructions on how to use them. There are probably 1,000 light switches in this house (all labeled thank goodness), but it was difficult to figure out how to work all the fans and appliances. Also, the frying pans need to be replaced, as they are old and everything sticks. Overall, we would probably stay here again if we come back with a large group.

Eagle Crest

We had a good time staying at Eagle Crest with our family. The property managers were very helpful when the air conditioning wasn’t working downstairs and they sent an air conditioning specialist out to fix it the next morning. The home was very spacious for our family of 9 and we enjoyed the amenities at Rumbling Bald Resort. The upper deck does need attention - it has some rotten boards.

Beautiful place!

A preface this by saying this house is beautiful, the view is to die for, the kitchen is great. The whole space is nice, there’s a pool table, awesome hot tub, and most importantly the beds were so comfortable. It’s a quick ride to the amenities. Highly recommend the Lake Lure tour! The negatives: the fan upstairs didn’t work, the air conditioning downstairs would not cool past 74, the outlets in the big bathroom downstairs kept going out anytime anyone use the bathtub. Baseboards were dirty, there were dead bugs in the light fixtures. I would recommend staying here, but I would ask the management company if these things have been fixed first. And I do want to add that they were very prompt in replying to our messages and very friendly. Even though we called them for several things, they were polite, friendly, and professional.

The house was not in a renter-ready state and did not reflect the quality advertised in the VRBO listing. We encountered several issues, including cleanliness and general home maintenance (damaged ceiling, broken ice maker, broken trash can…) They did assist with addressing the air conditioning, baby gates, and living room fan during our stay. The view was great and all guest commented on how comfortable the beds were.
