CASA CEIBA



At Casa Ceiba the centenary Ceiba tree rises above the terracotta roof and shades the back lawn through the day. Four bedrooms sleep eight in a Barranca villa, with an included cook handling the meals. The fit: a family or friend group of eight who came for a long weekend in the shade, three generations spreading across the open-plan core, or two couples on a long weekend who chose Barranca quiet over the noisier beachfront.



Mornings start on the covered terrace, drinks in hand, the pool just below the steps. By midday the lawn under the Ceiba canopy is the coolest spot for a long lunch at the outdoor table. The glass walls fold the open-plan living room into the garden. The kitchen is open-plan with a granite island for prep. By sundown dessert goes at the outdoor table under the tree.



Casa Ceiba sits in Barranca, the tree-lined northern pocket of the resort. The Racquet Center is a short cart ride for the morning hit. Minitas Beach is a short ride for the sand day, and Altos de Chavón is a short ride up the cliff for dinner above the river. Teeth of the Dog — ranked the Caribbean's top course by the World Golf Awards — is a short drive for the round, and the Marina is a similar ride for lunch on the water. Book Casa Ceiba when the trip is built around the tree at the heart of the garden, not a beachfront villa where the view is the same as every neighbour's.

RESORT FEE & ACCESS

All guests renting private villas at Casa de Campo Resort are required to register to gain access to the resort and its amenities. Registration fees are set by and paid directly to the resort:

• US$30.00 per adult, per night (ages 13 and older)

• US$15.00 per child, per night (ages 4–12)

• Complimentary for children under 4 years old



Resort fee provides access to:

• Golf courses, Fitness Center, resort restaurants, sports facilities, and other activities.

• Free use of towels and chaise lounges at the pool in the main hotel area, and at Minitas Beach.

• Health care services at the Central Romana Medical Center.



FOOD BUDGET: If your villa comes staffed, we suggest as a rough guideline to budget $50-$60 per adult per day for grocery costs if eating three meals at the villa (not including alcohol). This of course can vary due to your dietary requests. The Marina has a well-stocked supermarket with groceries, alcohol, and a wide selection of other products (sunscreen, hygiene products etc)

- Pets are not permitted.

- Guests may not assign, sublet, or allow additional persons to stay at the property without prior written permission.

- House parties and illegal or immoral activities are strictly prohibited.

- Guests are responsible for any long-distance telephone charges incurred during their stay.

- Guests are responsible for any damage to appliances, furniture, linens, tableware, or other property items during the rental period.



SERVICES NOT INCLUDED: The rental rate does not include the following services and amenities: Food and beverages, Airport transfers, Rental cars, Golf carts, Baby gear, etc. All of these services and more can, however, be arranged upon request at an additional cost through our concierge department.
