13 Sandcastle Ct

The home was absolutely beautiful. It was even better then the pictures showed. We had our family of 12 (8 adults and 4 children) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen and family room flow together with a large dining table large enough for all 12. The pool was great for the kids (a little small) but it was enjoyed by all. The appliances were all in great shape, and there were plenty of bath towels and beach towels. All in all, this was an excellent home to stay in for thee week and we would not hesitate to stay here again!

Great location, house, and came as advertised. It was an easy walk to the beach, and the pool was great as well. Would certainly stay here again.

Family Vacation - Sea Turtle - Sandcastle Ct

It was a great vacation. It was a multi-generational family vacation house with something for everyone. The kids enjoyed the big space playroom, the grandparents appreciated the elevator and everyone enjoyed the pool. Short walk to the beach was great and the driving locations to the grocery stores, shopping and restaurants was easy and convenient. Would stay at this location again.

Wonderful place to stay

Plenty of room for large family. Short walk or ride to beach was great. Children enjoyed having the pool at the house, especially after a long day at the beach and during rains. Enjoyed having a grill for cookouts. Appreciated the beach chairs & toys provided so we didn’t have to bring so much. Big well-stocked kitchen was great!

Amazing Rental Home

13 Sandcastle had everything our family wanted in a vacation home and then some! The included amenities could not have been better! The kids loved the heated pool and the close proximity to the putt putt course with it's arcade. I also have to give a big thumb's up to the management team as they're customer service skills were top notch. Our entire family said we need to rent the house again for another family reunion!

Good Stay, Nice House

The house was really nice and there was plenty of room for our big family. The pool was real good to be able to relax in and there was a nice view to a little lake from the balconies. The grill worked great. We couldn’t find one of the remotes to the movie room so we weren’t able to use it. But overall we ha de a nice stay there.

Perfect Getaway for Large Group!

After a sad end for the Class of 2020 a group of adults headed down with 19 recent alumni for one last adventure. The house was plenty big to accommodate our group with plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy some downtime together. The pool was a great place to relax while listening to music and grilling burgers for a crew of hungry boys! The walk to the beach wasn't too bad as it was shaded and well paved. A stones throw from restaurants and very tasteful arcade and putt-putt course. The kids were never bored. Top of the line mattresses and furnishings, truly felt that we were spoiled. Definitely would not hesitate to go back. Owners a joy to work with as well.

Perfect Pick!!

My husband and I spent weeks searching for the "best" location, one that could accommodate our large family, meet our needs while being comfortable with the cleanliness and upkeep of the home. Even when I say we weren't prepared for how perfect the home, that would still be an understatement. As soon as I walked in I remembered a review mentioning that the pictures didn't do the property justice. They were right!! It was even more beautiful in person. The home had everything and I mean everything! Except for our clothes and food of course but everything needed to prepare the food including the extra fridge andfree heated pool was awesome! I also spoke to a Christy at Sea Turtles while we were in route and she was so patient, accommodating and welcoming!! I must say as someone who is a germaphobe the home was SOO clean... I truly appreciated that!! Will definitely book again!!

Review

The pool is just way too small for a house that sleeps that many people and the bushes behind it need cut back so you can get a bit of sun back there. The AC works great! That's nice for a house that large. The two bedrooms that share a bathroom was a huge headache with how the doors constantly hit each other. Not having a communal bathroom or a half bath on the main level was very annoying. The ice maker produces like one ice cube a day. We had to buy bags of ice. The oven does not heat properly. It took HOURS to bake some potatoes. The beds were great. Linens were great. A community pool would be ideal in a location like that. A golf cart option that is included would also be nice. The couch was too small For a house that size. The side chairs were super uncomfortable. We stayed at a house on sea pines the few nights before this house, and the quality of the home was so much nicer there. This house was 9k for a week. I didn't think it was worth it.

Amazing house. Fully stocked. Comfortable beds. Enough room for my party of 12. Kids had a blast in the designated kids room. Elevator help with the older people in our party. Great trip. Great house. I would definitely rent again.

House is perfect for families!

Our family of 12 stayed her for a few days late February. The house was just as described clean and neatly decorated. The elevator helped when unloading luggage and groceries, also for my dad with bad knees. The house had plenty of sleeping accommodations for everyone. The host was very communicative and any issues we had, quickly resolved them. There was a short walk to the beach, even though most of our days were pretty cool. We enjoyed the small heated pool. The kids loved it. We will definitely be back in the future!

Fun and sun

Sandcastle by the sea was an awesome place, great location, plenty of room for our large family, nice walk to the beach, nicely decorated, kitchen well stocked. There was a considerable amount of dust, all the baseboards light fixtures and ledges no to mention we killed 6 palmetto bugs while there but the owner said it was due to the patio door being left open which was not the case. Just document the house when you arrive because you will be charged with anything they have to fix.

Thank you for your review. Regarding dust on the baseboards, we only dust the baseboards quarterly before the pest control company sprays the baseboards for insects. If we clean the baseboards after the application the insect protection would be removed. Since this guest jammed the patio door and broke the handle they were not able to close the door for a few hours, allowing the palmetto bugs into the house. We have insect protection application by a professional company every quarter and more often if needed. We ask our guests to report any issues as soon as they arrive, in this case the door issue was not communicated until 3 days after they have arrived and the door handle was replaced twice during their stay.
