The host was very responsive, pleasant and helpful during the entire booking process and checking in. The flat was as expected and comfortable with great views. Kitchen facilities were fine and enabled self catering.

Beautiful Views

Perfect location with beautiful views! Property owners were a delight to communicate with and the listing was exactly as described. Easy ferry and stunning views on the ferry to Curricular Quay for East access to The Rocks and Sydney CBD. A wonderful property!

Place was very clean, location excellent for access to ferry, and host was very accessible and communicable when needed. We were not aware that there was no central air or heat. It wasn’t an issue but could have been…maybe I need to inquire differently about it, I’m relatively new to using renting. Overall we had a great experience in Sydney at this location!

great location, next to Lavender Bay, terrific photo opportunities, easy access to city via ferry, great restaurants and pubs. nearby. The apartment was well equipped with amazing views. great communication from owner with easy access to the apartment.

Happy birthday

Location is extraordinary for easy access to ferries and easy parking. Building is very clean and apartment well maintained. Only extra I would like is a non-slip mat in the shower.

Great base for visiting Sydney with easy ferry access to Circular Quay and great views

Very comfortable apartment for a couple, with a great view, and access to ferries, shops and restaurants within walking distance. The apartment has clearly been been recently well refurbished and refurnished. The less than excellent overall rating reflects some still to be completed minor maintenance/refurbishment work at the time of the visit.

Location location locatiom

This apartment was a FABULOUS location- just a ferry ride to anywhere. There were evenings we had walked so much during the day, that we opted just to hop on the ferry to go to dinner back Across the harbor. Apartment was fine for our needs as the other reviews say a little tired and could've used a more thorough, deep cleaning but was short term, quick turnaround clean.

Weekend in the city

This was a return trip to Harbourside apartments for my husband and me. We love this location, so close to the city which is only a short ferry ride away, but far nicer than staying in a big city hotel. This apartment is spacious and comfortable, equipped with everything needed for a short stay. On the 16th floor, it has good views of Lavender Bay McMahon’s Point, and North Sydney. The owner was quick to respond to any communication from us. Thankyou- we will be back!

Not close to tourist areas

Apartment was located outside of Sydney tourist areas. Ferry was close proximity but you had to figure out what one went where. Not as easy as it appeared for those of us not from here. Apartment had no a/c, which was in description, but it was very warm. Host was very easy to communicate with. Location was clean, plenty of room for us and plenty of parking.

This property is located steps from the ferry pier thereby providing in a fabulous view of the Sydney harbor. The ferry system makes travel to the harbor and city very easy. The apartment was comfortable and clean. My only complaint is that the directions to the property could have been clearer. It is nestled behind a restaurant and another residential complex. We climbed many stairs needlessly.

Excellent location but tired

Very tired including the building. The fan noise in the apartment had to be overcome with ear plugs. If you’re a heavy sleeper you won’t have an issue. The apartment needs a good once over especially marks on carpet. Excellent location with ferry terminal right there.

As advertised there is no a/c and we arrived on a hot day to find the lounge roasting but the overhead fan inoperable. Floor fans were available but the first impression was disappointment, a sentiment reinforced by the 18 stick-on picture hooks left on the bedroom wall pbecause someone couldn’t be bothered to remove them.The tv was not connected to the internet for streaming services and at 07.30 on the second morning the builders fixing the leaking roof started drilling and hammering immediately above our bedroom. Words fail.Now the positives:Top floor apartment, good location with great views of the harbour/ lavender bay.Clean, very well fitted out (but you slide off the sofas), fairly spacious, renovated bathroom but tired kitchen. New lifts, free parking. 3 min walk to ferries to cbd etc. 10 min walk to cafes, supermarket.Conclusion: quite a good place to stay but a few irritations, as always with holiday rentals!

Location is Perfect, Apartment Adaquate

This apartment is on the water in a peaceful neighborhood, minutes from the awesome Sydney ferry and bus system. Overlook Luna Park and walk outside for a great view of Sydney Harbor Bridge. North Sydney is full of nice shops and boutique restaurants adding to the experience. Julie is an excellent host and very responsive. The apartment has everything you need. No A/C can be a problem on a hot humid day. Some work is needed such as replacing stained carpeting and getting fan/light in bedroom repaired. Also, the pool lounge chairs are moldy and need a significant cleaning. Sydney is expensive and this apartment offers a good accommodation at a fair price.
