Fishing get away with mom(86yrs old) was a great experience! The property is beautiful and well equipped. The host are responsive and friendly great people. The views are amazing and the fishing pier is just perfect everything you need for a great fishing adventure. We loved our stay here and look forward to coming back again soon.

Beware… I have tried to settle this with the owner but now there is no communication. Be sure you have insurance on your own personal property and take pictures of any of your items that are damaged while staying at this cottage! We were packed and ready to leave cabin and my computer was sitting on kitchen table when I went to clean up sink the whole dang faucet blew off and water started spraying all the way across the room onto table and my computer and now my computer is ruined!! That water faucet was on high due to washing out sink. I was soaked and everything in its path. Praying the same thing doesn’t happen to the next renters. Very disappointed!

I was notified about the handle coming off of the faucet when they left. Was notified the next day that the computer was "fried". There were no pictures of the incident and it has never happened before. No way for us to cover it under insurance. We have now checked the faucet and the sprayer end has broken off and the whole faucet will have to be replaced. We have come to an agreement with the guest that resolves this issue.

Nice place for a short stay

We needed a place to stay with our grown son after his back surgery and this worked out very well. Unfortunately the sofa bed was broken and he had to arrange mattresses on the floor from the bunk beds, but the rest of the property was just great

Thank you for choosing Come Friday for your family. We live on the property and would have been able to repair the sofa or make other arrangements for you if you had told us there was a problem. It seems whoever broke the sofa did not let us know. We can not fix issues if we do not know about them. we also could have given you the adjoining room at no charge rather than put him on the floor. We pray for his total healing from his surgery. Pat

My family and I decided to rent this property for my daughters 19th bday. Just as a family fishing trip. We have 4 kids who were looking forward to a pool because in the pictures showing the property there was a pool. The listing also read ENTIRE HOME. This was clearly a cottage or bungalow style. You will share the pier with like 5 or 6 other properties. There is strict rules everywhere pertaining to noise, music etc. Spa close at 9pm and you must limit noise. When we brought up our concerns to the owner, he was there with less than 10 mins and was extremely rude and very unprofessional. He said if we didnt like the property he gave us 15 mins to get out or he would not give us our money back. He stood there at the door guarding till we pack our luggage back in our vehicle and left. This could have all been avoided if their property description was accurate. I will never consider this property or recommend it to no one.

We are a shared property and have been since 2010. This guest showed up with her party of 8 and 3 vehicles, and expecting to have the entire property. They where very verbal about being dissatisfied. And had intended to invite other guests and require additional parking. We do not want unhappy guests on the property so we allowed them to leave and removed/refunded any charges. Our pool needed replacing and the new pool is being installed now. The main thing this guest wanted was a green light and we got that installed prior to their arrival.

It was a nice surprise

Let’s start with the home, quite spacious parent's bedroom and private tub, nice kid's room with comfortable bunk beds, and a nice living room to spread out. The living room has a cozy electric fireplace for when you want to put your feet up and rest. Then enjoy the water view through the kitchen windows or on the patio. We loved the kitchen. The Ohanna house is a family-friendly home. There were activities to keep our kids entertained. There are ways for adults to spend their day as well. My husband enjoyed the fishing pier. We enjoyed our stay here and would happily come back again.

Great getaway

A wonderful escape from Houston. The house was cute and had a full kitchen for preparing meals. The views are beautiful. It was also a nice to bring our dogs. The owners were extremely helpful and quick to respond with a few small plumbing issues.
