Pet friendly

This was the only place in Catalina we found that allowed us to bring our dog. It was such a treat to have him with us during our stay and Catalina the property was charming, not very modernized, but has that old-school Catalina feel and vibe which we appreciate.

Cute cottage, has games, collar to Von’s. Short walk to beach. Place was very clean. Only issue Wifi did not work Tv. Had to use hotspot on our phones. Message the link provided at checking didn’t great back. But had a great time with family

Perfect home in every sense

This was a beach cottage with a front porch. Everything you could possibly need for your stay was here. Grill, beach chairs, umbrellas, all the household appliances, . We didnt need for anything Vons was a 5 min walk. Beach a 3 min walk. We walked all over the town and Two Harbors as well. It was the best vacation and my teen grandkids and I cant wait to come back. Thank you for sharing your home thru VRBO.

Nice but golf cart noises

The place was nice and the location is good. The house needs some TLC. Most blinds don’t work, dishes and silverware were dirty, linens had stains. The place is located at a 3 way stop and ALL the golf carts that are rented go through there and it is quite noisy.

Comfortably accommodated our family of 6. Our boat arrived 4 hours before check-in, but the property manager allowed us to leave our luggage in the living room while the maid finished cleaning so that we could go see the sights without dragging our luggage along. Small spaces, but that's typical for all buildings in Avalon. Heater, no A/C, but plenty of fans and extra blankets in the closet.

The worst place to stay in the best area

I hate how this property management company has listed their properties on VRBO. These properties are falling apart, the absolute bare minimum of what is described or promised. I paid 1000 to stay for two nights. They didn't even have TOWELS in the bathroom. The property is not adequately supplied for the number of people they claim it can host. Overall, I would stay away from any Catalina properties this company manages. The only thing they have going for them is the perfect location right in the middle of Avalon.

Love Catalina and this cute home!

This VRBO listing was great! Listing and pictures are truly how it is. Had everything we needed for our trip as described in the listing. The only reason I gave it a 4 is that directly outside is a Stop sign and in Catalina people drive golf carts so you hear the stopping and going of the golf carts inside the house. You tend to get used to it by day two but if you are someone who wants quite this might not be for you. There is a ton of fans which was a big plus too as you can open the windows and let in the fresh air with fans running the place cooled down. This house was perfect for our family of 4 and our pup. You can literally walk across the street and have a great hike/sight seeing. The view was amazing!

The outside area is well kept up and the location is perfect but the inside of the house is run down and needs some upgrades. No vents inside the bathrooms, half the blinds don’t work and some windows won’t stay opens. Also the heater inside the house was not working so we had to use space heaters.

The Catalina Vibe

My son wanted to go to Catalina since he moved to California a couple years ago. Options that allow dogs are limited so we booked this property early. A bit dated but great location, comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen. Staff was very easy to work with, received prompt attention to the one minor issue we had with Wi-Fi (quickly resolved).

Cozy Beach Cottage

So this place is adorable and convenient to the beach, restaurants, Vons, etc. There are plenty of beds. It does not come with a golf cart so bring your walking shoes. It needs some updates. The prior complaints were true: we never got the wifi to work, we never got the TV in the master to work, some of the blinds were broken. Some of the dishes were dirty and no clean sponge was provided. Overall though it’s comfortable and convenient. Just not as nice as one would expect for the price.

Beautiful and comfortable little house. Space to socialize, nicely appointed kitchen, and comfortable beds. Super close to everything in "downtown" Avalon and just a joy to stay there.

We enjoyed our stay at the property. Perfect location, can walk to everything! Property managers were flexible and accommodated us with a late check out due to our ferry departure time.

Great family spot!

We loved this property! The kitchen was well-stocked with pots/pans/utensils, which made it easy to make dinner for our group after a quick trip to Vons. Plenty of sleeping space and also a spacious (for a Catalina beach cottage) living room.
