COLORFUL BEACHFRONT HOME IN LAS CONCHAS, ROCKY POINT – Located in the sandiest area of Las Conchas, Rocky Point (Puerto Peñasco), Mexico, Casa de la Playa Barry Happy is a colorful, comfortable beachfront home just steps from the Sea of Cortez. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps up to 12 guests, making it an ideal choice for families or groups looking for an unforgettable Rocky Point stay.
MASTER BEDROOM – Wake up to incredible water views in this spacious suite, featuring a king bed, sliding glass door to the patio, and a convenient kitchenette. The en-suite bathroom includes both indoor and outdoor showers — perfect for rinsing off after a day at the beach.
SECOND & THIRD BEDROOMS – The second bedroom offers a queen bed with a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom accessible from the hallway, ideal for couples or additional guests. The third bedroom features a king bed with its own private en-suite bathroom for extra privacy.
FOURTH BEDROOM – Designed with families in mind, this room includes two sets of bunk beds — one with twin beds and one with queen beds — perfect for groups of all ages.
LIVING ROOM – The open-concept living area is filled with natural light and stunning Sea of Cortez views through large windows along the southern wall.
GAME ROOM – A favorite for guests of all ages, featuring a large flat-screen TV, a vintage Pacman arcade machine, a foosball table, and a wet bar with reverse-osmosis filtered water and an ice machine.
KITCHEN – Fully stocked and ready for any culinary need, including an air fryer, blender, dishwasher, and its own reverse-osmosis water system.
OUTDOOR AREA – A spacious beachfront deck runs along the side of the house with a direct path to the sand and sea. The palapa-covered bar and seating area is perfect for morning coffee, sunset views, or evening drinks.
PET-FRIENDLY – This home welcomes pets for a $75 fee per pet; please let us know in advance if you're bringing a furry companion.

The house was phenomenal, simply gorgeous couldnt ask for anything else. It had all we needed. The view was to die for and we had a lot of fun.

Casa Barry is our Happy Place

Casa Barry is perfect for our annual family vacation. It is clean, very well stocked and roomy. We love the view and the wonderful beach. We have stayed 3 years in a row and have already booked Spring of 2026!

Amazing space for families & friends

Amazing space, just a walk down the stairs to the beach. We had the beach to ourselves. Lots of room for our family. Close to Walmart. We had lots of fun.

Casa Barry is our Happy place

Our family stayed for 6 days and loved it! It was our second time and we plan to come again next year! The house is beautiful, equipped with absolutely everything you could need, and big enough to spread out! The beach is wonderful and we had it almost to ourselves.we love Casa Barry!

Amazing

Casa de la playa is everything that is advertised! The home is clean, comfortable and large enough to house our family of 10. The game room is a hidden gem! The porch overlooking the ocean is unbeatable! And beach location was fantastic, the week we were there, it was basically a private beach! Oceano Rentals was easy to work with and met all our needs.

Beautiful

This was our second stay at Casa Barry Happy. The house and casita work perfect for our family of 11. The check in process was easy, staff helpful and friendly. We called them twice and they responded quickly. The upgrades from 5 years ago were really nice. We are keeping this property on our stay there again list. Thank you!

Very Nice Home

The home was remodeled with very comfortable finishes, plenty of room for all 12 of us, very clean, beach was great! All in all an awesome experience. We would stay here again. One thing we didn't love about the home is the amount of stairs to get to the beach 62 to be exact. We are a young healthy family so it wasn't that big of a deal. But if you are older or have mobility issues it might not be for you.

Family vacation

We had a wonderful stay at Casa Barry Happy. House was clean and right on the beach. There was a private stairway to get to the beach. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the pots and pans we needed. We used the grill 3 days of our stay and didn’t run out of propane. Beds were all comfortable to sleep on. There were small refrigerators in both ends of the house in addition to the main fridge, which we found useful. Only very small issue is we ran out of clean towels, but we went to the local store and bought soap to wash the towels in the washer and dryer in the game room. Would definitely stay here again.

All the comforts of home

Would absolutely stay here again. Only real negative is the house is elevated from the beach with 65 steps plus landings to get back and forth. We did have a group of people that were staying in the house behind us without beach access so they would continually step over our wall to use our stairs. The managers were available with questions on the oven, they did send a yard man over without informing us first which was a little concerning to see the gate open when we returned from lunch without warning but otherwise no issues.

Property is nice and overall clean, when we arrived the fridge had a very strong fish odor that then made all our drinks and food smell like fish. One night we walked our dog out front and the keypad battery ran out, thankfully the rest of our group could let us in. I messaged about this and in the morning we were told we were the second property on the maintenance list and they should be there soon. We waited over 6 hours not being able to leave the house (because we wouldn’t be able to get in) all for him to come and replace two AA batteries. When one tv didn’t work they sent someone out and they took two receiver boxes resulting in two tvs not working. Only the living room has streaming capabilities. One of the stairs about 20 from the beach is completely broken/sunken in, which is a safety hazard. We understand this can happen but we were not made aware of this before arriving. After all of these things happening, with having to constantly be messaging them and waiting around my phone, I asked politely for a partial refund before leaving this review. I was told they were not able to do that but offered me to stay with them again for a 10% discount. The property was overall good, but the lack of communication and having to be stuck for basically a whole day waiting for someone to fix the key pad it wasn’t as relaxing as the trip should have been. I don’t plan to rent another house with oceans because of how these things were handled

My reservation was so easy. The communication with our host was awesome. They were very attentive, helpful, knowledgeable, and very very friendly. They were always a phone call away and attentive to all we needed. This was such a beautiful home. Very clean, and we had all we needed. I would definitely plan our trip and stay at this house again. I recommend your stay at this GORGEOUS home.
