Best location

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a great place. Across the street from the beach, but in a quiet neighborhood. Sitting out by the pool at night, we heard nothing but the birds, and water trickling down from the spa. Very clean and well equipped. Easy to bike to Ding Darling, and all restaurants. SBL is accommodating and easy to work with. All in all, a wonderful experience.

Return to Paradise

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental experience was great. As always SBL was professional, responsive and kept us up to date. It was the first time since Ian we had an opportunity to come down and find a property we knew we enjoy. The only small drawback was that the spa and pool we heated by the heatpump only and it could keep up in some of the cooler weather we experienced on occasion.

Leif, we sincerely appreciate your fantastic review! We are overjoyed and thankful to have you back with us! It brings us great happiness to know that you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for your understanding concerning the pool and spa heater. This January has been one of the coldest that Florida has experienced in quite some time, making it challenging for all pool heaters to maintain optimal temperatures! We look forward to welcoming you back soon!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house is lovely with plenty of room. It’s in our favorite location on Sanibel which is on the West end of the island. Our only issue was that the pool area could have been a little cleaner. Spider webs were plentiful! We will be back next January!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great accessibility to the beach, just a short walk across the street. Also a short ride to the island bike paths. The home was well stocked and comfortable. The pool was warm and clean. We also enjoyed the whirlpool, it felt good on our aching muscles after bicycling all day. This is a short ride to Ding Darling too. We had a few minor issues and the SBL people were extremely responsive and helpful. Also patient and kind!We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Excellent home & area, close to beach, friendly & helpful staff

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is as advertised, clean, fresh, well maintained and nicely appointed. We had everything we needed, and plenty of space to enjoy our vacation. Our trip was interrupted by Milton leaving it's mark on the landscape (as with Helene) but the home was thankfully not touched. We enjoyed the Farmers Market, Doc Fords, Jerry's Grocery, Traders, Shell Museum, Sanibel Cafe and others. We really enjoyed the hours on the beach which was 350 steps from the home and still enjoying the three large boxes of shells we shipped home. Besides the 11 day Milton interruption, our only disappointment was the communication confusion over the heated pool and hot tub. We learned a little too late that the heater was broken so really am more disappointed in the pool company. Rob was great in coming out and determining the issue and showing me all the cool details. Despite that we very much enjoyed the pool and patio area and looking forward to staying again. Ann, Julie and Rob we appreciate you!

Thanks a million for the awesome review! You rock! We are thrilled to hear that you were able to enjoy your stay, despite Hurricane Milton's best efforts to disrupt your fun! We apologize for the confusion regarding the pool; we are indeed lucky to have Rob as our owner, and we’re glad he could assist you! It's wonderful to know that you are an avid shell collector; you certainly chose the perfect house for that. I'm also intrigued to find out if you actually counted the steps to the beach! Be sure to share that with us when you return next year. Thank you once more for your fantastic review; it was a pleasure working with you, Stephen!
