We loved the house except a few maintenance issues. The washer was mildewed bc door was kept closed. They did bring us something to try to clean it and offered to have cleaners come. Kitchen was not stocked great. But is beautifully redone. I loved that we could walk to the beach and was a quiet area. Loved all the iguanas and anoles.
Positives- property was spacious. Kids enjoyed the pool.
Negatives- ice maker was not even hooked up in the fridge, only 2 ice trays in freezer, dryer control panel was broken, no potholders, not enough sheet pans, one of the bedrooms was actually the garage.
It was a great place to stay for a larger family. The listing said 3 bedrooms, but it actually had 4 much to our delight (that was the "better" part). Great communication from the host, easy access to everywhere on the island. Highly recommended.
No seating in living only a couch. Ants every where. Only one tv. We really didnât think about that because every where weâve stayed had tv in bedrooms. Pool was very nice. Yard was a mess chairs turned over not mowed. Mold all over the patio door on outside and on the patio furniture. Not very healthy for us elderly so we couldnât enjoy the screen in patio. The chairs for beach were moldy. No umbrella for beach. Needs a few more dishes, plates mugs , glasses, lack of comfortable living room furniture.could be a nice place to stay.. 4 bed rooms and one couch. The 4 white kitchen like chairs are not for tv watching.
Perfect location! Close to all the beaches and shops and restaurants! The property was just the right size for the party of 7 we were traveling with! Pool right out the front door was awesome and clean! We would love to come back every year!
Property was great and we had a wonderful time. The only issues we faced were the kitchen wasn't well stocked with items like cups or mugs. They didn't have a wine opener, etc. Otherwise it had everything we needed. The dishwasher also didn't work.
Bedrooms, bathrooms, common space, porch, everything else was amazing. Perfect basecamp for adventures out across the island.
O Sole Mio has been redone and is a pleasant place to stay. It was listed as a 3 bedroom but was a 4. On the downside there were ants (and ant traps) all over the kitchen. We did not get all the supplies promised (trash bags and tp), there were no blankets, no large bowls for cooking or potholders, and the lone chair in the living room had three legs but was propped up to look like it was stable. Fortunately, we tried to move it for TV viewing and it fell over before anyone sat in it. We called and got the chair picked up but no replacement. The property management did get us some blankets (temps were in the 40's and bedspread was stained on the underside) two days later. Overall, it is a decent property and was a lovely place to stay. Property management could have been quicker in response and better at furnishing the basic necessities.
We were very satisfied with the property. A very nice recovery from the hurricane compared to other areas of the island. Easily room for the six of us, and the kids loved to pool area. A couple of things that could be improved. The broken handle on the front screen door and quite high up. There were ants in the kitchen most of the stay, plus a couple Palmetto bugs in toilet by kitchen. Beautiful refrigerator but the ice machine wasn't connected leading a late night dash for ice our first evening. Some hangers in all the closets would help. Huge spider webs in the roof of the lanai bothered the ladies and kids. A instruction sheet for the TV would have helped. We would definitely consider coming here again as expect more post-hurricane work to continue. Plus the shelling at Turner Beach was great.
House was clean and alot looked to be updated. however, louvers on the blinds were missing, one of the showers had no blinds on the window so when showering the unexpected landscaper was walking by. Made it weird. Living area couch leg was broken. Could use more living area seating. Every morning woke up to back up beepers and equipment running. Right behind the house is the sewage treatment plant. Explains the rotten egg smell. Pool was nice. I know how much the island has been thru and this property was ok considering.
