Whale-watching boats leave from the Depoe Bay Harbor, just across the highway to the east. Lula’s Landing has vaulted ceilings and skylights to bring the ocean light into its open great room, where you can relax on a velvet sectional by a river-rock gas fireplace and enormous wall-mounted TV. A dining table for eight sits off the pretty, fully equipped kitchen. Lincoln City and Newport, both filled with activities, are under a half-hour away in either direction.
