We had a great family get away. The cabin was just as beautiful as described. The hot tub was definitely a perfect addition to our vacation. Ryan the host was very responsive and helpful.

Very nice Shaver Cabin

This house is the perfect Shaver getaway house! The house was so cozy and welcoming. Had everything you needed in the house. Lots of wood for a fire. The hot tub was very nice. Ryan the host had great communication and any questions were answered quickly! Will definitely stay here again! Definitely recommend this house!

a nice stay near Shaver Lake

We had a very nice stay at this VRBO near Shaver Lake. The house was clean, communication with the manager was good, and it fit our needs. The area is very peaceful, and nice place to walk in the woods and be with family. This particular house has a lot of stairs; it is up and down to almost every room, nothing on a level. This may not be a problem for all, but I felt it worth mentioning. The house was well supplied, and our grandchildren enjoyed the jacuzzi.

Great communication with property manager. Really appreciate the wood for the fireplace in the garage. Grandkids had fun sledding in the snow nearby. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels but no washcloths. Good supply of TP and paper towels. Downside: no cable as advertised, and internet was very slow. Trying to watch the Superbowl was frustrating as the screen kept locking up. We like to cook, and the kitchen was not very well stocked. What was there was pretty well beat up.

The home was as described online. We had no issues.. The kitchen oven was not working but we were informed of that prior to the stay. only draw back was lots of stairs.

Loved this place!!!

This was a wonderful property in a beautiful location in the Sierra National Forest. The house was clean and incredibly well equipped. We loved everything from the Keurig to the poker chips (no that is not a violin!). There were some issues to be aware of: 1. The mattresses on the beds are pretty lousy. 2. The tricky faucet in the kitchen is really annoying. 3. The dryer only works well if you tape the door closed. Even with all of these things, I’d still stay here again in a heartbeat! The hot tub was fabulous! The Traeger grill was fantastic! The kitchen was stocked with every cooking item you’d ever want! Our host Ryan was awesome and immediately available for all questions. He gets 5 stars by himself! Do yourself a favor and rent this place! We hope to come back!!!! Thank you, Ryan!

Interesting that you disliked the mattresses since I just replaced the master and downstairs bedroom with 2 high end quality mattresses (one plush and the other firm). Great cabin for Family Vacation

The property was GREAT, it had all the amenities we needed for our annual Shaver Lake family vacation. Quite neighborhood. Lots of parking for three trucks and two boats. Spacious open concept kitchen, dinning and great room. The outdoor space was our favorite, it has a covered patio deck that can be closed in for winter months or rolled up for summer with lots of patio seating. We especially enjoyed the spa. The owner was responsive and helpful throughout the booking process. I would highly recommend this property.

Family trip

Ryan was amazing to work with and his home was absolutely lovely! Quiet, relaxing and homey feeling, nothing like hotel stays. Enjoyed the local shaver lake and other beautiful areas nearby, was very easy to get to all of our activities and necessities. Any questions we had Ryan was quick to respond and was most helpful! Would absolutely stay with him again!!!! Hopefully next time I’ll get more wildlife ( was hoping for a bear) 🤣

Hermoso lugar lejos de todo !!

El lugar esta bien y tiene espacio para varias peronas , en nuestro caso llevamos niños , la nieve iso su experiencia más divertida , la fogata durante la noche y el jacuzzi iso que un fin de cemana sea memorable !!! Definitivamente iremos de nuebo , se los recomiendo !!!

Great cabin up in the woods. A short drive from Shaver Lake with great amenities (hot tub, fire pit, sound system etc.). Pictures are good but could help clarify that the "fake bedroom" really is a stand alone bedroom with a futon. Overall really great spot.

Fantastic house / Great neighborhood

My family truly enjoyed our stay at this wonderful cabin. The cabin is in a great neighborhood with plenty of room to maneuver if you show up with your boat or trailer. It is incredibly clean, well stocked and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable, plenty of linens and towels for everyone. Although we didn’t use it, the hot tub is a nice touch. My wife and I watched the sunset every night from the back porch. The owner Ryan was very helpful and easy to get a hold of. My family and I will definitely make this our “go to” rental in Shaver Lake from now on.

Very modern and cozy

This cabin is very cozy and modern, which was a plus, because some of the cabins we have rented in the past were really outdated. The main floor has a room that leads to the patio, with a separate (hallway) restroom, both are very nice, and the mattress is very comfy. One step up from the living room, there is a smaller room. This room could use an updated mattress. Upstairs is the master room, with its own restroom. The mattress could be better, but overall the bedroom is spacious, and cooler from the rest of the house which was a plus. The loft is also upstairs, and divided into 2 parts. On one side, there are twin beds, and to the side there is a small door that leads to a “secret room”, that has a full size bed in it. It was really neat, and the teens loved it. There were plenty of pillows, and blankets. There was enough pots and pans to make our meals, and the grill was easy enough to use for our hamburgers.. We got into the jacuzzi, but it had a weird smell, like old socks.. We made the most of it though, we just washed our clothes afterwards, and showered, so no big deal. We wished there was snow, but there wasn’t, so we hiked instead, there is a trail starting point on the next street down. The town is a 10 min drive away, and Kens market has anything you forgot from home, anything from clothes, to medicine, drinks, and food items. Everyone in our group really enjoyed themselves, and the cabin. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the mattresses.

Our spa is professionally serviced weekly and for the added feature for our guests we have spa fragrances to add so there is no unpleasant smells that sometimes spa's can have. Thank you for your feedback on mattress'. We have had countless guests and have never received any complaint or concern on any mattress. I am sorry the mattress' you indicated did fit your comfort level. Thank you for the feedback.

Amazing and relaxing

First time at shaver lake and I loved the place!! The home was amazing my family truly enjoyed their stay. They have everything already it is fully stocked. The kids enjoyed all the games they were able to play and had a huge collection of games. The lake was a few minutes away from the home the neighborhood was nice a quiet very peaceful would definitely visit again !!
