Lake District 4 Star apartment

L'appartement de vacances 4 étoiles de Loweswater est une maison très spacieuse et confortable dans le Lake District, pouvant accueillir jusqu'à quatre personnes. L'appartement est situé dans un village tranquille du Lake District, à proximité de Loweswater et de Crummock Water. La ville Gem de Cockermouth est à seulement 10 minutes en voiture, avec toutes ses boutiques indépendantes et sa culture de café populaire.

L'appartement est situé dans un mews avec accès fermé, ce qui le rend très privé. Le stationnement de votre voiture dans votre propre espace alloué, à quelques pas et à travers les portes ornementales à un escalier extérieur privé à l'appartement.
Dans l'appartement, vous trouverez un salon très spacieux (4mx5m). Les grandes portes françaises permettent beaucoup de lumière pour en faire une pièce très lumineuse et attrayante. Une vue imprenable sur la campagne vous permettra de découvrir la côte de Solway et la zone frontalière écossaise de Dumfries et Galloway (un trajet facile si vous souhaitez explorer cette région). Il y a deux canapés confortables dans cette pièce et un tapis à poils longs. Très confortable en effet. Une télévision à écran plat avec TNT, une chaîne stéréo complète et un lecteur DVD sont à votre disposition pour vous détendre après une longue journée sur les Fells. Beaucoup de livres et de jeux sont également fournis pour votre divertissement. Des plans de la région sont également fournis.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée pour tous vos besoins de restauration. Vous venez de fournir l'épicerie et tout le reste est là pour vous pour toutes vos exigences culinaires.
La salle à manger est sur une grande table carrée avec quatre chaises.

Une salle de bain moderne entièrement carrelée a une baignoire pleine grandeur avec une douche électrique au plafond, un grand lavabo avec miroir lumineux au-dessus, des toilettes et un sèche-serviettes. Toutes les serviettes de qualité sont fournies.

La chambre numéro un est grande et a beaucoup de rangement dans une armoire double, qui a beaucoup de cintres en bois. Deux armoires de chevet et un meuble-lavabo composent la pièce. Une couette en duvet est fournie avec une couette non allergène en option. Tout le linge de lit est également fourni. Deux oreillers par personne. La deuxième chambre est légèrement plus petite mais dispose des mêmes équipements que la première chambre.

Pour votre divertissement dans l'appartement, vous trouverez une télévision à écran plat avec TNT, un système stéréo avec tuner, lecteur CD et magnétophone. Un lecteur DVD est également fourni. Il y a beaucoup de livres et de jeux ainsi que des cartes et de nombreuses informations locales. Un dossier d'information vous donnera toutes les informations dont vous aurez besoin concernant la région et les services disponibles. Bien sûr, un WIFI gratuit et illimité est à votre disposition.

L'appartement est accessible par des portes à l'arrière du parking et un escalier métallique exclusif à l'appartement. Une cour commune a deux tables de pique-nique, également une petite tonnelle pour s'asseoir et se détendre. Cette cour est un véritable bain de soleil et très abritée. Nous proposons également un magasin sécurisé pour vos vélos.

Mockerkin marvellous

A delightful first floor apartment with lovely views over the village, towards the coast. A comfortable lounge/ diner with a well equipped kitchen, plenty of storage space and good WiFi. A welcoming place to enjoy a relaxing evening and an excellent night’s sleep after our Lakeland adventures.

A few days in the Lakes

This was a beautiful property, a great setting with lovely views. I could have sat there all day watching the beautiful little birds. Easy to reach the western/ northern lakes with lots of walks to tackle. Beds very comfortable. All you could need in the cupboards. Plus some home made cookies that my son and husband drooled over! Thanks a lot.

Great base to holiday in the Lakes

Overall great. Ray and Margaret showed us round the apartment and made sure we knew how everything worked. Very good information pack provided. Access to apartment is via an outside metal fire escape style staircase which was slippery when wet. Bedrooms and bathroom have sky lights only and to see the best view from lounge requires you to stand at the window due to the height. It would be a great addition if if there was decking or balcony to use from the patio doors in the lounge.

Exploring the area

Loweswater Apartment. We were met on arrival by our hosts Margaret and Ray who welcomed us and provided a comprehensive tour of the apartment and all of its amenities and equipment also kindly providing us with local information about the area places to eat and we may wish to visit which was very helpful. The photographs on the web page do not capture or provide a true reflection of this accommodation and we were both pleasantly surprised as it far out passed our expectations. The fitting and furnishings were of the highest quality with everything we required and would wish for. The place was warm and comfortable and provided a superb base for our weeks stay. If you are looking to visit the lakes and wish to avoid the busy areas around Windermere this places provides easy access to the National Park without the hassle that other areas can experience. Margaret and Ray were always available if required at the end of the phone but other than on our arrival we did not need their help. I would highly recommend this apartment and would not hesitate checking availability if we are intending to revisit the area.

Three lovely girls from Germany arrived at Loweswater for their first trip to the Lakes. They were a very happy and friendly trio, whom we really enjoyed meeting up with. We do hope thy come back to the Lakes in the future.

The owners were very helpful, even rang us on the way there to let us know of a road closure and to give us new directions. The apartment was lovely, clean, cosy and warm. In a good location for some lovely walks.

Week's holiday

The apartment was perfect for what we needed. The bedrooms were comfortable and we all slept very well. The lounge is a lovely place to sit with the patio doors open and enjoy listening to the birds.

Amazing views

Celebrated our 10year anniversary.. Had the best 3 days ever if we could stay longer we definitely would hav, Ray and Margaret are too good ray greeted us right outside the property as we drove past it.. He guided us wer to park nd stuff followed him up the stairs we thought okay wer is this leading us too 😂 as we walked up the stairs went thru the front door Margaret was waiting for us.. She greeted us as we walked further in we seen outside the patio doors omg the view was absolutely breath taken... 👌😍... House was Sooo clean and cozy ray and Margaret showed us all the rooms where everything was and left us few leaflets told us whats local and stuff.. we selfcatered.. Took our own frozen food normal food cereal coffee sugar you name it haha.. Beds were super comfortable cannot fault this place at all definitely will be staying at this place again... A pleasant stay

Lovely location and all the amenities, superb view, tranquil, have to mention birds! As we were 4 adults, would been better if king size beds or even separate beds at least in one of the rooms, On the whole a super place, Ray and Margaret are so friendly and helpful and superb location, Willl come again!

Wonderful little apartment

The apartment is wonderful and a delight to return to after a day of exploring the Lakes. Beautifully maintained with plenty of space, and somewhere to completely relax in. There was even a plate of coconut cookies for us when we arrived!!

Great Week Away

This apartment exceeded expectations: everything was clean, comfortable and most importantly - affordable! The living room was a particular highlight as we enjoyed the great views from the balcony and the light from the ceiling windows, with bird feeders giving us morning entertainment during breakfast time. Ray and Margaret were always a phone call away, though we never found ourselves in want of anything. Cockermouth, Keswick and Whitehaven are all about half an hour away from the apartment which means it has great access to the highlights of the Lake District. Overall, I would highly recommend this apartment and would definitely come back again.

Beautiful home from home in a peaceful setting

This apartment has everything you need ,and some lovely extras,for a comfortable and relaxing holiday.perfect location to explore the areas of loweswater, which is now our favourite Lakeside walk. And Ennerdale water. Even though we were there over a bank holiday the area was not heaving with tourists as the central Lakeland areas always are.so for us a perfect holiday. Thanks to Ray and Margaret for making us feel so at home when we arrived.

Loweswater apartment was originally our holiday home in the Lakes, where we spent many enjoyable holidays before retiring to Cumbria in the Western Lake District. Loweswater offers a feeling of real homeliness not just a holiday rental, a great place to relax. The apartment is full carpeted throughout , ( kitchen floor and bathroom excepted which have tiled floors ) and is fully furnished with all those little extras to make your stay a very pleasant experience. From the moment you walk in to the apartment you will appreciate the light which floods in through the large floor to ceiling French doors.
