A perfectly charming and lovely cottage! Our stay was perfect in every way, from the sweet decor to the comfortable bed, couches and outdoor patio area! Truly an excellant stay all around, host was so easy to talk to and made us feel so welcome. We would book this again!

We had a lovely two-day stay at the Salty Mermaid. Gracious and welcoming hosts from start to finish. Cozy beach vibe decor with a super cute well-equipped kitchen. The view, deck and yard amenities, and beach access exceeded our expectations. We hope to be back!

The Salty Mermaid is a great place to stay. It’s got everything you need and more. The area is fun to walk and close to beach access points. Bill and Ceri have created a warm and welcoming space. We recommend it and will hopefully visit again.

This was such a great place to stay! The hosts have obviously worked extremely hard to ensure that their guests are welcomed and well taken care of. The place was immaculate and all of the little things you might want were there. Also, this is probably the most pet friendly property we have rented in the last few years, with treats, blankets and dishes supplied. We cannot recommend Ceri and Bill’s place highly enough.

Beautiful place!

My friends and I came for a few days and had a fabulous time! The owners were so welcoming, and the cabin itself is well-stocked and just gorgeous. We spent hours sitting out on the front porch, enjoying the firepit and the view. 10/10 would recommend!

Everything was just as lovely as we expected. The photos and descriptions in the app were very accurate. Our hostess,Ceri came to welcome us And give us some ideas of things to do while here. We had a lovely time and were very comfy and cozy here in the cottage.

I could live here

This place was absolutely perfect. It was spotless, warm, and inviting. I immediately felt like i was home. The patio has a covered and uncovered section, making it always usable. The beach was a shirt walk away, and i enjoyed my morning coffee there almost daily

A relaxing, beautiful place to stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Mermaid Cottage! The hosts were great with communication prior to arrival, and during the stay. The cottage is clean and nicely decorated. The deck is a beautiful place to sit and enjoy the ocean views, star gaze at night, BBQ, enjoy a propane fire pit, and eat meals outside. The lawn had games set up for us to play with, which the kids enjoyed. Being able to walk down to the beach in a couple of minutes was great. Me and my husband and kids all loved it, and hope to return!

We loved spending time at The Salty Mermaid between our adventures on Vancouver Island! This beautiful cabin had everything & more & the decorations were right up our alley. Cerie was a wonderful hostess & there were great recommendations for restaurants near by. We would love to stay again!

Beautifully decorated and private cottage. Super clean and stocked with all the amenities. The hosts are fantastic and even prepared lawn games and a few little extras for our kids. The beautiful beach is steps away and there is lots to visit in town. We will stay again!

We had such a lovely stay! The house was clean, bright and had all the amenities we needed. The host, Ceri, provided a nice welcome pack including coffee, and came over to check on us to make sure we had what we needed. The location is so beautiful with a view of the sea right from the front window. And there was a cozy front deck perfect for morning coffee and evening views. We stayed two weeks and could easily have stayed longer it was so comfortable and well appointed. Highly recommend.
