Older home with smaller bathrooms but all made up for by great decor; amazing location and communication. When we come back to sf we will stay here

Great location

We stayed here during our time exploring San Francisco. It was a quiet neighborhood with many close restaurants and short drive into the city.

We were in town for a family event, the space was perfect for us. The house was clean and stock with all the necessities. It was close to everything we needed. Communicating with the host was very easy and the responses were very quick. We would stay here again.

Great hiking location

We hiked Muir Woods and point Reyes. Had great seafood. And enjoyed the beautiful views. We were so comfortable during our stay. And would definitely book again.

great location, convenient

All great on this stay, would definitely stay again. Nice front window view, can bird watch at nearby boardwalks. Grew up in Marin, and know the area. This was extremely convenient- easy to access stores, restaurants, and more!

Great Property, Great Location

We stayed here with our three children while attending the celebration of life for my father-in-law. The home’s layout is fantastic, and the extra sunroom was a hit with our adult kids. The house had everything we needed, and we were welcomed with a thoughtful basket of goodies from the owners/manager. The location is perfect—easy access to the freeway without the typical windy Mill Valley roads. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Location and Beautiful Home!

The home was very well appointed in a nice neighborhood. The house was clean and in a great location. You were only about 20 minutes from Muir woods and about a half hour over the bridge into San Fran.If you are looking for a location to stay and you do not want a hotel or have a large family (we were a family of 5), I highly recommend this house.

Grandkids Camp

We had a Grandkids Camp with 3 of our granddaughters and the Mill Valley Home was the perfect landing spot. Great location for hiking, beaches, parks and Muir Woods. Our granddaughters loved staying at the home! It was clean, well-maintained and has an adorable yard. The owners are very responsive and answered my questions quickly. I would definitely recommend this house and stay in it again.

I usually look for features which can be improved upon. For the Mill Valley Home I couldn’t find any! This very nice home was immaculate, well located for sights in SF & Sausalito, etc. Jim, our host left a cooler filled with delicious goodies, and information to make our visit to Muir Woods, and the surrounding area much more enjoyable.

California Wedding Vacation

We came for a wedding at the Pelican Inn. The location of the VRBO could not have been more ideal. We were close to Muir Woods—just an amazing experience!—Sausalito, Presidio, Pier 39, and not that far from Napa and Sonoma Valley wine tours. Sitting in the living room drinking coffee while watching the sunrise was wonderful each morning. Even got to watch hummingbirds flit across from bush to bush as well!

Beautiful Home

We loved our stay at this Mill Valley Home. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was great, with plenty of places to eat in close proximity. This house would be perfect for adults or older kids. I do not recommend it for kids younger than 2. I have a 1-year-old and I spent 4 days trying to keep him off the stairs, from falling off the hearth and from trying to open the cover of the fireplace. I would absolutely stay here again though.
