Le chalet est situé sur 6 acres de terrain privé. La propriété a 150 ans et est à vous d'explorer et d'apprécier.

Dès votre arrivée, notre vin fait maison vous attendra. Profitez de superbes vues depuis les fenêtres et le patio et le soir, faites griller des guimauves près d'un feu de camp (bois de départ fourni). Vous pouvez utiliser un nouveau gril à gaz pour des steaks parfaitement grillés.

Ce chalet pittoresque de deux chambres est bien aménagé et décoré avec goût avec de beaux meubles et des lits confortables

Le chalet peut accueillir 4 dans 2 chambres, (peut-être 6), nous avons un lit futon dans le salon qui deviendrait un lit double et un matelas pneumatique pourrait devenir pratique. Il y a une salle de bain complète.

Il est interdit de fumer à l'intérieur du chalet. Pas d'animaux de compagnie.


Si vous désirez des vacances plus actives, apportez vos vélos et profitez de routes spectaculaires et pittoresques le long du lac Mich., Faites de la randonnée ou jouez au golf sur disque dans un parc d'État à couper le souffle de Saugatuck Dunes ou Shore Acres Park - 15 min. en voiture, vous êtes à proximité d'Open pour un parcours de golf public, louez un bateau ou un jet ski, pêche, ski et visitez 3 villes portuaires de charme: Saugatuck, Douglas et South Haven. Ils sont à 10-12 min. conduire, où vous pouvez voir du théâtre en direct, flâner dans les galeries d'art, les boutiques et dîner dans un certain nombre de grands restaurants. Célèbre cave de Fenn Valley avec dégustation gratuite et grande visite de la cave le samedi. est à seulement 15 min. une façon.

Il y a une plage publique connue des résidents à 10-15 min. à pied, 5 min. à pied du restaurant et de l'épicerie les plus proches (avec une excellente dali et des pizzas fraîches) et du petit centre-ville de Glenn-pancake town avec une histoire unique et la plus petite du bureau de poste de MI et la plus ancienne de l'école ouverte de MI. Autocueillette de fraises, framboises, bleuets à seulement 3 min. du chalet et des célèbres fermes de pêches et de pommes du Michigan 10-15 min. conduire. Tant à faire et à voir !! Nous vous donnerons tellement de suggestions amusantes que faire, qu'après votre premier séjour dans notre chalet, vous reviendrez, année après année!

This is such a gem! Not only are the hosts simply wonderful, but the location is perfect for having easy access to beach towns and the more rural vineyards and farms. Our host gave us awesome suggestions for area attractions that were a hit with our young kids. We were in South Haven in 15 mins easy! The property has great natural areas that have some deer and wild turkeys come through. The easy check in and check out was nice with excited kids along! This was our second time staying here and we hope to make a return visit soon!

Super Cute, Great Location

Really enjoyed our stay in the quiet town of Glenn, Michigan. Our host was very nice and was a good local guide, her recommendations were great. House and appliances are a little old, but it makes up for that in it's charm and location! Would definitely come back!

Quiet getaway

Perfect for what was needed. Secluded and quiet stay with only a short drive to activity. Well kept property with everything needed, just bring your food to cook and clothes to wear!

The Green Cottage surpassed our expectations. The cottage is well maintained, bright, cheery and provided all that was needed during our stay. We had an enjoyable stay. It was close to everything we wanted to see. The only drawback was the TV. You had to have your passwords with you in order to use the apps.

A lot of humidity in the house, strong mold smell, and the furniture is very uncomfortable.On a positive note, the kitchen was well appointed. The air conditioning was great and appreciated.The wine bottle had been opened so we didn’t feel comfortable drinking it.Don’t appreciate having to do laundry, cleaning is included in the price.

Fabulous

This trip was perfection. The cottage is comfortable and adorable. The property is beautiful, with lots of birds serenading each morning. Easy access to many beaches and nearby towns. Irina was a most gracious hostess, who arranged everything I could want. She even arranged the weather to accommodate plenty of beach lounging, watching waves, and pretending to read. I highly recommend the little green cottage for a perfectly relaxing escape from real life.

Awesome Beach Towns

We had an awesome stay in South Haven. The property was clean and just as described. Our host, Irina was so sweet and kind. She makes home made wine for those who rent the cottage. We had the chance to meet her and she was lovely to talk to. She even left me fresh picked flowers one day and shared her fresh picked fruit with us. Couldn’t have asked for a better host. The area is very close to lots of beach towns and fun things to do. Lake Michigan is absolutely beautiful.

Sweet Cottage

My mom and I stayed here so that we could go to the Michigan Fiber Festival at the Allegan County Fair Grounds. It was about a 30-minute drive to the fairgrounds which was fine for us. The cottage is just as pictured and was very clean and exactly what we needed. There were some really cute places nearby to check out (definitely go by Sunset Junque) and the host was absolutely amazing! Very helpful and provided lots of ideas for places to check out in the area. The property itself was super pretty and Mom and I had a little fire one night as well. I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Quirky and comfy

This place was a perfect fit for our girls trip. The grounds were beautifully rustic and it was very quiet at night. The host Irina was in contact with us constantly and the check-in process was very easy. The only complaint was that did have a musty smell upon entry and there were some bugs, so probably not the best choice for those with asthma or respiratory issues. There is a dehumidifier to help with humidity and the host did respond when contacted about the bugs. We would definitely stay again!

Charming Cottage

We had a lovely stay at the Green Cottage. It was cozy, clean and far enough off the road for peace and quiet. I live in Chicago down the street from a firehouse and the sirens are earsplitting. My friend and I just wanted some quiet time, fresh air and some leaf peeping. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed. It is close enough to Crane's Pies (which you MUST DO) and down the street from Sunset Antiques. The stay was too short. I will be returning for a longer stay. Our host Irina was so awesome. She checked in on us and gave great suggestions for hiking. I loved it.

We really liked the location and proximity to Douglas, Saugatuck and South Haven and Glenn Beach was lovely. When we arrived the cottage was overwhelmingly musty and in contact with Irina the solution was to keep the temp at 69 degrees and use the ceiling fans this made for a very uncomfortable night and finally the following evening she raised the temp of the cottage since it was bouncing up and down as we raised it and she lowered it remotely. We ended up having to go to Meijer and purchased odor absorbers which seemed to help by day 3-4. The cottage is a good place to be close to lots of things but it really had no comfortable and real living room furniture except for one chair. The futon was newer but basically felt like a board and the rattan and rocking chairs felt more like patio seating than the sort of thing we enjoy relaxing in and decompressing. As a family who really enjoys relaxing and being comfortable and not always on the go it was a little bit of a bummer that there wasn’t that comfy space we have become accustomed to with rentals in the past. Definitely a great place to stay if you are going to be out and about exploring and really looking for more sleeping accommodations above anything else but less so if you are looking to also chill at the cottage with multiple people. Loved all the farm markets, local jams, honey, wineries and the creamery- we loved the cheeses!
Glenn beach- bring aqua socks as the water is all rocks but still lovely.
Local finds made for a nice little charcuterie.

Lovely experience and really great host!

We stayed for our summer vacation and it was great! Our host had really thought of everything and provided excellent tips and ideas in her notes and resources. We have two young boys (3 and 6) and they loved the farm that was suggested for a visit where they enjoyed playing with the barn cats and kittens. The location is great! We were in South Haven the most, which is a quick drive south down Blue Star. We were also able to get to other beach towns (Saugatuck, Holland, Douglas) and farmland areas (Fennville) with ease. The Glenn Store is super close and I walked it easily a few times - and their pizza is indeed good. The Glenn Restaurant has must-try biscuits and gravy. The house has a gorgeous yard. We saw wild turkeys and deer. The grill was easy to use! We were there during blueberry and peach season - amazing fresh fruit in every direction. The little ones appreciate the game/toy cabinet along with the large TV that had Netflix for them to enjoy. There were plenty of towels, dishes, and flatware. It was very easy to check out and the price for the area and the comfort worked with our budget. We hope we can stay again!

Restful Bliss in the Countryside

Thanks to the wonderful owner and her blissful property, my friends and I were able to rest and recharge. There was always something to do within a 30 minute drive, whether its beach, food, shops, apple/peach picking. All is fun and easy to access! The property itself is tranquil with a rich history something we enjoyed learning about during a tour by the owner. Seeing deer in the early morning was a joy and the amount of stars at night was breath taking!! Fully enjoyed our trip. Totally rate this experiance 10/10 Sidenote: Phoenix Cafe in South Haven (20 min from property) best food the entire vaca! Highly recommend to any visitors and definately will be returning!
