We had an amazing time, the rooms are clean spacious. The kitchen is big enough for the whole family to sit around and have breakfast. Ver y nice home to stay in.

Such a great place. Accommodates a large group - 7 beds, 3 full bathrooms, lots of seating, place settings for 12, driveway parking…everything. It was also the most well equipped house we’ve ever rented - kitchen tools, bathroom needs, games (both indoor & outdoor). And on top of all that, Ms Dawn is a great responsive host! Loved everything about it. Will be booking again for our next visit!

This property is near and dear to our hearts, as I grew up in the area and still have family here. We try to anticipate all of your needs and stock the house with all of those little extras that make a house feel homey. We also want everyone to feel like the get a lot of BANG for their buck, especially in this economy! We look forward to your return so you can see all of the improvements and upgrades we make to Mansfield Manor.

Amazing place!

We absolutely loved our time in this house! There are so many thoughtful touches. The decor is beautiful, the house is well stocked, the beds are comfortable, and the location is perfect. It's our favorite place we've ever stayed! We had kids, and they loved the special touches (toys and games) for them. The kitchen is so well equipped to serve a large group too. The hosts are very quick to respond and so kind. We were so thankful for our time here!

Inviting space

We stayed here for a family reunion, and the house had plenty of space for our group. The location was convenient, and communication with the host was decent.Check-in could have been smoother, and the cleaning between guests could definitely be improved. There were a few minor issues during our stay, but nothing that ruined the experience. Overall, it served its purpose and we made great memories with our family.

Great house close to Liberty University

We stayed at this property so we could watch our daughter at an event at Liberty University. It was a quick drive there or to restaurants and shopping. The host was great! Our group consisted of adults, teens, and toddlers. We all enjoyed the house. The bunk room is fantastic for children. The hot tub was great on a chilly day. The host took care of our every need!

Unexpected surprise!

I always give ratings relative to comparable properties in the same area. We booked this house for parents weekend at Liberty University, and wanted a pet friendly home so we could bring our 2 dogs up to see our son. If you are familiar with Lynchburg, this home is located in a working class neighborhood. We found the neighbors in the area very friendly and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch and actually took a nap one afternoon enjoying a cool breeze and the wind chimes! The home is a mid-century renovation and the owners did a great job. The house is incredibly well organized with plenty of little helpful notes. The decorations are really fun with lots of colorful artwork and lighting. The kitchen was superbly well stocked with everything we needed. They converted the home to have a separate apartment which resulted in no bathroom upstairs for those bedrooms, but there is a full bathroom on the main level in addition to the master bathroom. We didn’t find that to be an inconvenience at all. We were planning to enjoy the outdoor fire pit with nice Adirondack chairs on our last night but the weather didn’t cooperate, unfortunately. Overall, the home is a great value with plenty of room. We will likely book this home again on a future stay.
