Parking was terrible and there is absolutely no storage. It is small, which was fine but at least put up some hooks to be able to hang things up. Location was very good.

The cottage was adorable with everything we needed plus a beautiful view. The neighbors were wonderful. We love the Ocean Grove Community.

Relaxing in Chase's Ocean Grove

We have stayed in the Grove for years with family and this year decided to stay in our own place. This rental is well suite for a couple looking for a relaxing trip to the cape. Perfect setting across from the ocean. Love the porch to read on with Adirondack chairs. Wish there could have been a couch inside the space, but the team has down really well with the limited space in the cottage. Dedicated parking spot is key in the Grove. We would definitely stay again!

The location is wonderful, right on the beach, close to local restaurants. Outdoor shower was amazing. The cottage was a bit dirty with a nasty dirty rug and dirty bedspread. The bed was uncomfortable. The big problem with renting this cottage in Ocean Grove are the neighbors. There is ONE designated parking spot for this cottage and every day we would find someone parked in our spot. Neighbors across the way saying the land is not owned, and they can park there despite it saying it's designated for this cottage. We would come home to no parking. One neighbor yelled over "you are renters, we are owners, we have been coming here since we were 2 years old." Next door neighbor in everyone's business, constantly yelling over asking us if we wanted a drink (NO!), almost harassing us and everyone that walks by. He parks his motorcycle next to the cottage and revs it up so loud. Not sure why he parks it next to our rented cottage instead of next to his? We left early because we were so upset with our stay. Two sisters, two hardworking nurses, who just wanted a quiet few days in a cute cottage. We are very disappointed and would never rent it again.

We’re really sorry to hear that your stay was so frustrating, especially since you were looking forward to a few quiet and relaxing days at the cottage. We completely understand how upsetting the parking situation must have been, particularly when you returned to the cottage and found the designated space being used by someone else. We have since followed up with the homeowner and the neighboring properties about the parking concerns, as well as the other issues you experienced with the neighbors, so we can hopefully prevent this from happening to future guests. We’re truly sorry that you had to deal with this during your stay. We also appreciate you letting us know about the condition of the cottage. We have followed up with the homeowner about the dirty rug and bedspread and are working on getting those replaced so the cottage is in better shape for future guests. We’re also sorry to hear that you found the bed uncomfortable. We’re glad you enjoyed the location and the outdoor shower, but we’re disappointed that the other issues took away from your experience and ultimately caused you to leave early. We really do appreciate the feedback and the opportunity to address these concerns. We hope to have the opportunity to welcome you back in the future and provide you with the quiet, comfortable stay you were hoping for.
