Private parking for 4 cars. No smoking.. A wonderful, historic gem, set at the heart of a quintessential Dorset village. The Old School House is a detached property comprising of four bedrooms, a large living room, separate dining room and kitchen, making this perfect for families to enjoy. Outside there is a lovely enclosed lawned garden where you can help yourself to fruit in season. There is also plenty of space in the grounds with lawns and an ex-tennis court, ideal for small children, as well as a small play park too.

The village setting offers the chance to escape the hustle and bustle of every day life and relax and enjoy the countryside setting. Lower Bockhampton is at the heart of Thomas Hardy country, with his former home a short stroll away, which is well worth a visit. Within a short walk down the lane is Kingston Maurward with its park, lake, walks, beautiful gardens and animal park.

The charming town of Dorchester is just 3 miles away and offers a wide range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants and a mainline train station A little further afield, 7½ miles, you will find the Jurassic Coast, a stunning stretch of coastline with glorious sandy beaches and pretty harbour towns to explore. Beach 7½ miles. Shop 3 miles, pub 1 mile and restaurant 100 yards.
