Amber Rooms is a mid-terrace cottage located in the village of Stanhope, Durham. Hosting two bedrooms, including a king-size with an en-suite hot tub and bathroom, and a twin with en-suite shower, along with a cloakroom, this property can sleep up to four guests. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room. To the outside is off-road parking for two cars. Amber Rooms is a fabulous retreat to county Durham.

From the iconic Romanesque Cathedral and 11th century Durham Castle nestled in the centre of town, to its sleepy villages and thriving Heritage Coast, Durham is the perfect holiday choice.

Town: Stanhope is an ancient market town in the beautiful Wear Valley. The town is home to the Durham Dales Centre, offering tourist information, a coffee shop, local arts and crafts. In addition to this there is a selection of pubs, specialist food stores, art gallery, outdoor swimming pool and pleasant riverside walks. The cathedral city of Durham lies 22 miles away and is a World Heritage Site boasting a magnificent cathedral and castle, plus Hadrian's Wall is within easy touring distance.
