Brokan is a favourable first-floor apartment resting in Meldon near Sourton Down, Devon. Hosting three bedrooms, including a double, a twin and another twin (zip/link, can be super-king on request), along with a bathroom and a separate WC, this property can sleep up to six guests. There is also a kitchen/diner and a sitting room with woodburning effect stove. Outside there is off-road parking for one car, and a rear communal garden. Brokan is a welcoming base whilst you explore the countryside of Devon.

Amenities: Electric heating with woodburning effect stove. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge with ice-box, freezer, washing machine, tumble dryer. TV, DVD player, Wifi (intermittent due to rural location), pool table, football table. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Off-road parking for two cars, with extra spaces available if required. Communal garden area with patio and furniture. Sorry, no pets and no smoking. Shop 1.4 miles, pub 1 mile. Note: The utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer and extra freezer is shared with the other cottages. Please note: Due to the nature of the property the stairs may be found to be steep for some guests

Region: Devon, with its quiet country lanes, patchwork of lush green fields and sleepy villages is not to be missed. Stately home lovers will be spoiled and why not finish with a scrumptious Devonshire cream tea?

Town: Sourton Down is resting on the edge of Dartmoor National Park, with a Shell garage serving takeaway food and selling any essentials, as well as a pub and a bike hire shop. Nearby Meldon has a quarry, viaduct and reservoir which each offer scenic spots and great walking routes to spot all three. Nearby, Okehampton is home to the ruins of a medieval castle, the Museum of Dartmoor Life, a golf club, a train station and ample shops, bars and eateries.
