Town: North Devon's Woolfardisworthy, sometimes known as Woolsery, is a small hamlet with a general store. Nearby Hartland Forest contains hundreds of acres of Forestry Commission land, while Clovelly, a community known for its flower-strewn cottages and a steep cobbled footpath leading down to the 14th-century harbour, is only five miles distant. Both of these locations are known for their natural beauty. Heritage Coastline, which spans from Bideford to Bude and features stunning hikes and spectacular cliffs at Hartland Quay, is part of the National Trust's Heritage Coastline. There are surfing classes at Bude and a water sports centre at Tamar Lakes for those who enjoy water sports.
