A short trip to the ancient village of Cartmel and its 11th century priory is a must see, with plenty of sights to behold and incredible walks to traverse all around the Cartmel Peninsula. Cartmel offers artisan breads, cheese and famous sticky toffee pudding, not forgetting its Michelin Star restaurants!
