It is located just 5 miles from Lymington, which has an idyllic cobbled high street with a variety of shops. This home is located on the outskirts of the New Forest, which is well known for its free roaming ponies and cattle. It is a beautiful place to visit at any time of the year with many quaint villages and towns offering cafés, restaurants and pubs as well as numerous shops. There are scenic coastal walks to enjoy with incredible views, and on a clear day, you can see the Isle of Wight. The lodge is situated close to Highcliffe Castle where you can go walk along the beach down to Mudeford, and enjoy a pint at the pub at the end of the beach, and/or a spot of crabbing with the family. You can get a ferry across to the stunning Hengistbury Head.
There are many attractions to enjoy nearby such as Beaulieu Motor Museum, Paulton’s Park (with the ever popular Peppa Pig world), Furzey Garden, Liberty’s Owl and Reptile Centre, and Hurst Castle are all worth a visit. Further afield, you can visit the UNESCO World Heritage Jurassic Coastline, or stroll along 7 miles of golden sandy beaches at Bournemouth; one of the best beaches in the UK. If you are searching for places steeped in history, the cathedral cities of Winchester or Salisbury would also be worth a day trip.
