A theatre is nearby and plenty of amusements for the children. You can easily travel all over the north east from here, the nearby metro is perfect for visiting Newcastle a vibrant city full of life and culture, hop on to Tynemouth and visit the wonderful weekend indoor market dubbed the ‘Covent Garden of the north’.
