Compact and bijou, curated with bags of eclectic style, The Forge was formerly blacksmith's smithy situated in the glorious, quintessential Norfolk village of Edgefield. This petite romantic couple's hideaway is perfectly situated for walking to the excellent, dog-friendly local pub.
Beautifully curated on one level as an entire open-plan living accommodation, The Forge is super-stylish with crisp, modern furnishings, antique furniture, original beams and exposed stonework. Horseshoes and historical photographs adorn the walls and the working anvil is featured in the garden. The light and airy living space boasts a well-equipped kitchen/ diner/ sitting room area with a wall-mounted Smart television. The entrance (and exit!) opens onto the gorgeous, fully-enclosed, spacious garden making it ideal for your furry friends. In the bedroom area is a sumptuous king-size bed overlooking the village green, and a separate room houses a large, luxurious walk-in shower.
The Forge is in a great location in the hub of the village of Edgefield, overlooking the large duck pond, and a short stroll from The Pigs pub, renowned for its local British food. A few minutes by road takes you to the bustling Georgian market town of Holt, and less than thirty minutes to the many stunning Blue Flag beaches along North Norfolk's coast, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
For larger parties, Pond Cottage located two doors down, sleeps four people. Both cottages can be booked together: Pond Cottage (E).
