A beautifully tranquil setting, yet still a convenient distance from the village of Shaldon (walking distance), if you are happy to take on the fairly steep hill that is Short Lane on your return. We are a working horse and pony competition yard and there will be plentiful opportunity to see horses & Ponies in action or quietly grazing in the peaceful surroundings.
The mobile home looks out onto fields and you can look across the valley in the direction of the coast.
Shaldon itself is an idyllic little fishing village of quaint thatched cottages, period houses, contemporary homes and narrow winding streets situated at the mouth of the Teign estuary on the edge of the English Riviera and Torbay. It lies adjacent to the older village of Ringmore, which we are on the edge of and both enjoy a delightfully warm micro climate, sheltered from the sea by the Ness, the imposing red sandstone headland that has been a welcome landmark for centuries of sailors. https://shaldon-village.co.uk/
At our setting, we have a grassed area to the side of the mobile home, which we are more than happy for guests to use. However, please accept that it is our dogs play area too and is not cleared daily. Please refrain from giving negative feedback because of this. There is also a table and chairs outside and we are happy for you to set up a portable/disposable BBQ for Al Fresco Dining.
