**THE INDOOR POOL AND SPAS ARE CURRENTLY CLOSED FOR REPAIRS. WE WILL UPDATE AS SOON AS A REOPEN DATE IS ANNOUNCED.** This 3 bedroom (3rd bedroom is a loft) 2 bath condo is located at The Summit of Gatlinburg Condos and is located 3.5 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 1.5 miles from Ober Mountain Ski Resort. It is on the 3rd floor (NO ELEVATOR) with breathtaking views. This is a corner unit with views of all the Smoky Mountains from front balcony and the Sevierville side from side balcony. From parking area there is 13 steps to the building. This unit is on 3rd floor with a total of 4 sets of steps for a total of 32 steps There is NO Elevator. This unit offers 1 Queen bed in master bedroom with a full bath (tub and shower combo) and Tv in room, guest bedroom has 1 full bed and the loft offers 2 twin beds. There is a full bath off hallway that has a stall shower. The kitchen is small but has all your appliances with a small stove. The living room offers a large TV and a wood burning fireplace. THIS CONDO DOES NOT ALLOW PETS!!If you bring a pet you will be asked to leave with no refund, and a 100.00 per day fine will be accessed on your bill. Smoking is not allowed in the unit. Please smoke outside. If you smoke inside, you will be charged a $200 fee. Winter Weather Warning: The elevation at The Summit is above the lodge at nearby Ober Mountain Ski Resort. In case of inclement weather, 4 wheel drive and/or chains are advised. We recommend checking the weather and webcam at Ober Mountain Ski Resort to determine the weather conditions here. The City of Gatlinburg does an excellent job of keeping the roads open in winter, but in case of heavy snowfall, it may take a day or more to make the roads safe for travel. When staying here in the winter, it is advised that you bring extra supplies just in case.

dangerous drive to property and unclean

the ONLY good thing I can say is the view is breathtaking. The listing should state that the drive is treacherous. Two miles of steep, continuous incline, EXTREMELY sharp turns, no guard rails and no lights on the road. The property is NASTY. Paint peeling of the ceilings, chipped and missing spots of paint on the walls. No elevator and the carpet is FILTHY. Furniture is stained. Nasty stain on the mattress. Tables have water marks. Carpet on spiral stair is frayed and unraveling. DO NOT STAY HERE! IT'S A WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY!

The view from the place was amazing, clean place quiet condo. Owner answered questions promptly. Would definitely rent again.

Good views, needs cleaning

The location was great, only about 10 minutes from downtown. The view on the drive up the mountain was gorgeous, especially at night. You can see downtown Gatlinburg from the chalet. We were able to see a bear around the chalet also. Unfortunately, our chalet was not very clean. There were 17 dead flies on one of the window seals in the living room. The shower curtain (not master shower) was moldy and had large holes in it. There were dead spiders and dirt in the kitchen cabinets. One of the decorative pillows on one of the beds was completely torn on one side. The box fan in the closet downstairs was filthy and didn’t even work. Blankets were thrown in the closet (not folded and touching the floor) when we arrived. Cobwebs were on the wall in the living room. Again, the view was great. This chalet and the Summit had great reviews and that is why we chose to stay here. However, I would never stay here again. If we would have been able to cancel and get a refund, we would have stayed in a different location.

Chalet Village

First off the positives, the view is unmatched from the balcony. Just spectacular. Check in and check out was seamless. Next the not so good, the condo itself is woefully outdated. It’s like stepping into a time machine and going back to the 90’s. And lastly, the bad, the overall cleanliness of the condo was not good. In particular multiple cobwebs in multiple places all over the walls. Furniture was dusty. I wouldn’t go as far to say anything was “gross”, or else I wouldn’t have stayed with my family, but the effort to clean and update this condo was certainly lacking. In closing, I would have no problem renting from this company again but I will not be back to this particular condo.
