Welcome to the Avocado House! The whole group (small & civilized events are ok!) will enjoy easy access to it all. 1 block away from Sister Pie, Marrow, Mumma Maria’s, Two Birds & more. Around the corner is Red Hook coffee & LCD Yoga/Cycling. Across the street is a basketball court and other fun stuff for everyone. You’ll find yourselves just a 7min drive from downtown. Our home is super safe and fitted to everyone’s needs! Private parking in the driveway behind our home. Need anything, pls ask!

This is a beautifully renovated home with all new bathrooms, kitchen and hardwood floors. Our beds are all queen Tempur-Pedic with night stands and lamps on each side. The dining table seats 6 people, the TV is 50 inches and our WiFi is business grade. We also provide linens, towels, shampoo, body wash and all kitchen ware. If you need a high-chair, pack and play or crib, we can put you in touch with a rental company that can assist. We also provide a BBQ Grill and 2 parking spots!

We are located in the Historic West Village neighborhood of Detroit on East Vernor/ Beals st.. Just a 3 min walk (one block) to Sister Pie Bakery and Marrow Restaurant/Mamma Maria's/ Two Birds Bar. We are also a 7 minute walk to Redhook Coffee, LCD Yoga and Cycling/Detroit Vegan Soul/Metropolitan Kitchen etc. We are on a very quiet, family friendly street, we know all our neighbors. Most of the houses on our block have been renovated but a couple have not. Please don't let that alarm you, this is just the case with ALL OF DETROIT. If someone tells you differently then they are most likely not being honest with you. We are right across from a school and a beautiful park with new basketball courts. It does not get any safer than that.

Please ask us where to go if you don't know the area. We are proud of our home and our diverse, eclectic, neighborhood.

We are 5-7 min drive to Belle Isle, the Detroit RiverWalk, Eastern Market and downtown Detroit.

We absolutely do not allow any loud parties that disturb us (we are your neighbors!) We do allow events, but please inquire BEFORE booking.

So cute! And FOOSBALL!

Everything was great. The property manager is ultra-resonsive. I needed a broom and couldn't find one in the house, so she instacarted a broom and dustpan to the house right away. Plenty of towels, warm beds, a nice kitchen, and a drip coffeemaker plus ground coffee and cream & sugar were there ready for us. We visit Detroit regularly, and will stay in the same house next time too if it's available!

Cool, Clean Place

Worked perfectly for our night out in the city. Easy to get Uber drivers to and from the house and we were only 10-15 minutes from everything we wanted to do. The house was very clean and all amenities were perfect. Yes it is true the neighborhood is not completely updated/renovated but we felt safe and at ease with our stay.

Great place for a group!

We (group of 6) stayed in this property to attend a friend’s wedding and it was great! It was spacious, clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. Bryan was very responsive and accommodating. He gave us detailed check-in instructions that made our stay seamless. Would definitely recommend!
