Welcome to The Eastmoor Retreat! This 3 level log cabin is the perfect mixture of peace and quiet yet just in an ideal location as you are 5 minutes away from Fairview breweries and restaurants & 15 minutes to the heart of Asheville!

For those days you just want to relax and reconnect with friends and family, you'll love the hot tub, porch swing, outdoor grill, inside fireplace, foos ball table, multi-game arcade with all the classics, well-stocked kitchen and a great layout where you have entertaining spaces available on both the main and lower levels!

Have a Tesla/Electric Vehicle? No problem - charge up at our cabin as we are EV friendly!

Very flexible sleeping options as we have bedrooms on all 3 levels with 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths:

Main Level Bunk Room with (2) twin over twin bunk beds

Lovely cabin close to hiking and Asheville

Super fun and cute cabin. Or family really enjoyed our stay here. Kitchen had everything we needed (we love to cook while on vacay); the grill was good quality and worked well; the kids loved the arcade games and basketball standard. The neighborhood was quiet and beautiful; we loved sitting outside. Great hikes and the city of Asheville were both within 15-20 minutes. The only drawback in the cabin was the lack of a bathroom in the basement level - which is where the king bedroom is. 6 of us were sharing the main level bathroom, which got a little inconvenient, especially in the middle of the night when us "older folks" had to hike up the basement stairs to use it. I would also suggest some more towel hooks in that bathroom - if it's meant for up to 8 people to share, it should accommodate more than 2 towels...

Christmas in Asheville

The location was easy to find. Upon entering we were “met” by a Christmas card and a surprise pecan pie. That was a thoughtful treat. House was clean and spacious. The Christmas tree was beautiful and another nice surprise!

Family get away

Property was well stocked and very spacious. Hot tub was very enjoyable the boys enjoyed the basketball goal. Very easy to get downtown. Enjoyed the stay. One downside was only 2 small bathrooms for eight guests and the carpet needs to be replaced as it is very soiled.

VERY CONVENIENT LOCATION - ONLY 15 MIN AWAY FROM DOWNTOWN ASHEVILLE. CENTRAL LOCATION TO BLACK MOUNTAIN AND SLIDING ROCK - APPROX 40 MIN AWAY FROM BOTH. BEAUTIFUL NEIGHBORHOOD. MANAGEMENT WAS VERY RECEPTIVE AND INFORMATIVE. THE PLACE WAS VERY COMFORTABLE - WE HAD A PARTY OF 6 AND THERE WAS PLENTY OF ROOM.

Perfect weekend getaway spot! Would stay again!

A group of five of us (plus one dog and a baby) stayed here for a quick weekend getaway to Asheville. We were hoping for something peaceful, cozy, and about 15ish minutes to downtown Asheville. The Wandering Winnie checked all of those boxes and then some. Everything was exactly what we had hoped and seen from the pictures — the place was very clean, the amenities provided were a great touch (full kitchen with plenty of supplies, stuff for smores, the built-in info screen in the living room), and rooms were in great condition. Hot tub, fire pit, balcony were great to have and everyone felt safe, restful, and cozy all weekend. We all agreed that we’d book another stay here for future trips! Highly recommend!
