Room for attention to detail

We checked in late afternoon on a Wednesday. We immediately saw the hot tub was broken - We left a message and was asked to “try some things”. When those didn’t work we were told a tech would come in the morning. The next day it was raining and they said they couldn’t come. Fri morning they finally came, “fixed it”. We left for the day bc it was only at about 80 degrees and we were told it would take few hours to warm up. Came back later that evening and it was already broken again. I reached out to her again through the app once we realized they were not coming back until Sunday and we couldn’t use it at all and she never responded. Other than that things that were disappointing: the outside area was overgrown and had we been able to use the hot tub it’s not very friendly to walk to and from, lots of uneven/broken cement (not in pictures online). Windows had no screens so couldn’t leave open For having a large cleaning fee there was lots that could have been cleaner. We actually tossed the bathroom rug in the washer ourselves bc it was nasty. The shower curtain & liner were both stained. Yellow spots on the curtain and pink and orange mold on the liner. The beds were clean, but one was so hard and the other overly soft, like it needed to be replaced. The couch was warn out & not comfortable Little details like there was no dish cloth just a USED sponge…pros: quiet, heat and AC worked.

Perfect cottage to relax

The moment I drove up to the cottage I felt instantly relaxed. The outdoor space with lights and decor inside breed the peace you’re looking for when away from home. The cottage was well-stocked with basics and the extra touches throughout felt special. Hot tub was amazing ! Location was wonderful and just a few minute drive to the beach, stores, and hiking trails.
