Boasting modern appliances, including a full-sized fridge & freezer, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, & drip coffee maker, it is stocked w/ any tool you'll need to create your favorite cuisine. You'll also find plates, bowls, cups, & utensils, & there is plenty of room in the fridge to keep your drinks & groceries cold, along w/ ample cupboard space to store your food & snack items. There is counter seating, a breakfast nook, and a dining table that seats 8.

GUEST ACCESS

During your stay, you'll have exclusive access to the main house, backyard, and swimming pool. We also have a studio and a guesthouse on the same property that is rented out separately, with their own private entrances and patio spaces.

The parking area is shared w/ the studio guest and they will access their unit by passing through the front yard of the main house. But the walls are insulated for noise, so you won't even know they are there!

- You must be 21 years or older to rent this property

- Pets are allowed with a refundable $250 security deposit. Please clean up after them! If additional cleaning or repairs are required after you check out, this fee will not be refunded.

- Longer-term stays may be permitted on a case-by-case per guest & host agreement.

GUEST INTERACTION

Your hosts Bree & Bear do not live on the property but do live right down the street and can be reached by message or phone between the hours of 8AM-9PM Tucson time.

☆☆HOUSE RULES☆☆
If you book with us you are agreeing to uphold the following house rules:
- You have two parking spots available in the driveway for use during your stay. There is also free street parking, but we are not responsible if your car gets towed for being parked in a non-designated spot.
- We cannot accommodate special requests for specific cleaning products, linens, etc. but we are practicing COVID safe cleaning methods and using antibacterial products
- No mailbox access is given. Guests may have packages delivered to the front door, Amazon locker, or P.O. Box, but we are not responsible for items you have delivered.
- We are not responsible or liable for any accidents, injuries, or illnesses that occur while on the premises.
- We are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables during your stay. We cannot be responsible for any items left behind.
- We do our best to accommodate early or late check-ins, but due to our cleaners’ tight schedules, check-out time is strictly at 11 AM. There is a $50/hour fee for late check-out.
- Parties are STRICTLY PROHIBITED; we will press charges if you violate our house rules and a minimum $500 fine will be charged.
- All guests occupying the property must be accounted for on the reservation. Please do not have more guests than stated in your reservation and do not have any unapproved visitors.
- No smoking (of cigarettes or marijuana) and no drug use is allowed on the property. A minimum $250 fee will be charged if this rule is violated.

☆☆NEIGHBORHOOD☆☆
The historic Blenman Elm neighborhood was established in 1900 and is said to be the "vanguard" of the ranch-style home in Tucson. Architecturally significant, the neighborhood features 17 styles of homes that were popular between the 1920s and the 1950s, including 21 homes built by Swiss-born Tucson architect Josias Joesler.

It is a diverse neighborhood with pockets of wildlife you might not expect in the city. Historical landmarks dot the Blenman Elm landscape, including the Arizona Inn, which opened in 1930; SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church and School, which opened in 1931; and Blenman Elementary School, which rang its bells for the first time in 1942.

Blenman Elm is the 3rd most walkable neighborhood in Tucson. With a bike score of 95 and a wallk score of 71, it is just a 10-minute walk/2-minute drive to the historic Arizona Inn, a 4-minute drive to University Medical Center, and a 4-minute drive to University of Arizona.

Dining ranges from upscale pizzerias, to colorful Mexican cantinas serving homestyle tamales and enchiladas, to sports bars and brewpubs with featuring impressive happy hour specials. Himmel Park has tree-lined paths for jogging and cycling, a summer pool and open-air theater in the fall.

It’s okay
I was torn about leaving the review.. the house is nice, but parking is confusing. They also have a studio and a guest house they rent, so there were people all over the backyard peering in our windows. There’s no “private pool” because the two other renters can peer in your windows or your pool at any time. The patio pics they show are shared with the studio and the guest house. I told them I used the fireplace and they said it was against the house rules to use it even though it’s shown as an amenity on their listing. Their welcome letter to me threatened to sue me if I messed up their home and I had to either pay a $100 deductible or put down a deposit that the owner “could or could not” reimburse. The house is nice but this was the most unwelcome visit I’ve had with VRBO and wouldn’t rent from these people again

Tucson Family Get Together
The property worked well for our family get together. The open living and kitchen area allowed for us all to gather and not feel cramped. The kitchen/nook, pool table, fireplace, backyard, and playing games at the dining room table all made for a memorable stay. The house was clean and the beds comfortable. The hosts always responded immediately with answers to questions and resolving one minor issue with the washer. We'd definitely consider staying again if the need arises.
