Bear Paw Hollow is situated on 5 private, wooded acres with beautiful mountain views. Bordering the Chattahoochee National Forest, Bear Paw Hollow is the perfect spot for a secluded, cozy and peaceful vacation. As you are driving up Daves Rd you will most likely see deer, goats, cows and sometimes even wild turkeys.
Inside the cabin, Bear Paw Hollow has been beautifully renovated with new custom furniture. The ceilings and floors are covered in knotty pine throughout the cabin. The kitchen features wood cabinets, granite countertops and a large peninsula with plenty of space. The family room has new leather couches, a 65 inch television and a wood burning fireplace. All 3 bedrooms feature King beds and fans in each room. Downstairs in the game room there is a futon that turns into a queen bed that's perfect for an additional sleeper. There are 3 full bathrooms and all have been newly renovated.
Get your game on in the game room. Sink into one of the leather loungers, or get ready for some fun. Play the board and card games at the pub table. Get competitive at the shuffleboard table or the three beanbag toss games. Or, if you're looking for some modern fun for everyone, the arcade machine has 18,000 games and four joysticks – fun for everyone! It's a lovely spot to relax and unwind. Bear Paw Hollow has plenty of board games, books and kids toys that are also accessible to all guests.
The outdoors is as perfect as the indoors. With multiple areas to relax and unwind, there's a place for everyone. Kids will enjoy playing outside and exploring the creeks all around Bear Paw Hollow. Bear Paw Hollow also has a large fire pit area that is perfect for s'more making. Sit on the front porch in one of our rockers or play corn hole or kan jam in the front yard. Grab a cup of coffee and sit on the back porch and admire the beautiful mountain views. There is also an outdoor dining table that is great for eating at all year long. Bear Paw Hollow also features a hot tub that is perfect after a long day of hiking!
You couldn't ask for a better location. Bear Hollow is a perfect place to stay if you're looking for outdoor fun. It's near several hikes such as Fall Branch Falls and Aska road hiking trails. Swinging Bridge is a short drive away and so is canoeing, and kayaking on the Toccoa river. Fly fishing is a must as well! Bear Paw Hollow is just 10 minutes from Blue Ridge Lake and 25 minutes to Lake Nottely. Appalachian Trail rides is a great place for horseback riding for 6 years old and up. There are several close by wineries and orchards. Downtown Blue Ridge is about a 20 minute drive and downtown Blairsville about 25 minutes.
