Very nice property. Not so great host management/communication.
We arrived at property at ~4:00 PM. Found bedrooms/baths nicely furnished & clean. Each had mini-fridge & microwave & own outdoor deck. Beds were comfortable & provided a good nights sleep. Kitchen had all necessary cook/dinnerware/utensils & coffee maker. Livingroom had large TV & fireplace that would be nice to experience in cooler months. Overall, very happy with this property itself. However, after settling in, we went out for that evening to enjoy the Ozark nightlife. Upon return at 11:30 PM, we found a note on the front door. The note was from a second group of guests who were apparently also booked for this property. They let us know that they entered to find our belongings, so they immediately exited the property. To their credit, they left the note to let us know the property had been double-booked. Unfortunately, when they left, they locked the doorknob to the front door, unknowingly locking us out. Even though we had the PIN code to the dead bolt, we did not have a key for the doorknob. Texts to the property manager went unanswered & phone calls went to a greeting with no voicemail. So stranded outside with our belongings inside. Called Vrbo cust support & they tried their best to help. They too tried to reach the property mgr to no avail. After hour and half, we found that we were able to "jiggle" one of the ground level deck sliding doors open. We got back in! Rest of stay was fine. Just disappointed that we experienced this double-booking issue with this Vrbo.
