Great house and well stocked with everything you need! The views are beautiful! The couch is the most comfortable couch you definitely can relax on! Very clean! Would stay again. The only negative was the elevator was not working but was told ahead of arriving.

House is beautiful with everything you need. From bath towels, beach towels, linen’s and all supplies is so helpful. The decks and views are amazing. Plenty of room for everyone. Host was great and quick to reply and so helpful. Hope to return in the future.

This was our second stay at Above It All, and once again, we had a wonderful time! Everything you could possibly need is provided, which makes packing so easy. The kitchen is exceptionally well stocked with cooking supplies and basic spices.Joel, the owner, is fantastic—responsive, thoughtful, and incredibly kind. The beach is just a short walk away, and he provides everything you need for a great beach day, including chairs, beach towels, umbrellas, toys, and boogie boards.We especially loved the top-floor master suite with its sitting room, which was the perfect spot for painting and playing guitar. The top-floor game room was also ideal for working on puzzles. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of extra linens and cozy blankets.Another wonderful week at Above It All! We highly recommend this beautiful home and hope to return again!

Excellent Home, Host, and Location!

Our stay at Above it All was excellent all the way around. The home was everything our family wanted & needed for our week away on vacation. The beach was just steps away, restaurants & shops were just down the street, and Joel was a friendly & responsive host. We’ll definitely be returning!

We had an amazing stay, everything in the house was exactly as pictured. Our host Joel was very friendly and responsive when we had questions and went out of his way to make sure we had a lovely and relaxing stay. Highly recommend!

Still Above All Others!

This was our fourth time staying at Above it All and it was such an incredible week and place to stay! We love this home so much and always make special memories when we stay. The house is impeccable and is equipped with everything you might need for your stay. The owner is wonderful, communicative, and such a great host. We look forward to returning next year and can’t wait to be there again!

Another great time

This was the second time we stayed at this property and everything was great again. The house is perfect for family groups with plenty of room for everyone and well stocked to keep everyone comfortable. Great time and we will be back again.

Great layout inside and out! The decks all have beautiful views! The house has everything our family needed. Short walk to the beach, we love it here!

Great place with views

The online listing is very accurate. Amazing views of the sound and ocean. Quick walk to the ocean. Very clean and up to date. Loved the place, would definitely recommend!

Great house!

Loved this house. It is beautiful and very well stocked with all the essentials. The elevator is a lifesaver for unloading and loading the car. Great views of the ocean and canal from both of the front decks and it’s a short walk to the beach.

10/10 Highly Recommend- Beach Oasis!

Joel’s place was truly the best rental my family has ever stayed in, especially in Surf City! He was so communicative and the house came fully stocked! Especially the kitchen! It was cool and comfortable for 6 adults and pet friendly which was great! We can’t wait to go again next year!

Amazing stay!

We took our daughter and adult grandkids for a week long stay. We had an amazing trip. The beach was a very short walk away. The kitchen had absolutely everything you would need. Everything was very clean and felt like home! We really appreciated EV charging station and the beach chairs that were provided and the elevator was a life saver with our bags and groceries. The host responded very quickly when we needed him. Overall, I couldn’t really find anything wrong with the place. We will definitely be back next year!

It really was “above it all“

Exceptional property, with everything you need to have a good time at the beach or at the house. Fully equipped kitchen (we used the waffle maker). Beautiful views from the decks…especially the top deck. Our family had a wonderful time and we all agreed that the house had everything we needed.

Great place to stay for all ages

We had a great week at Above It All. The house was very clean and we loved the view, the breeze on the high decks, and the well furnished house and kitchen. Meals were easy to prepare and serve with the well equped kitchen and gas grill. The beach is only 2 blocks away. We will definitely come back. It is a great place for older adults with the elevator and great views from the decks.

Another great visit

We are repeat renters at Above it All and we forget it's not our own home so we look after it as if it is ours. Every visit is like 'coming home.' We even know the neighbors now! The owner/host is wonderful and responds to questions or concerns promptly. Highly recommend.

Above It All is still above the rest and the absolute best!

This is our favorite spot in surf city and we look forward to our stay every year. The owner is truly wonderful and seeks to make above it all the best around. The house is equipped with everything you need and no detail has been overlooked. You’ll find comfort, beauty, scenic views, and make memories to last a lifetime. We can’t say enough how much we treasure this home, the owner, and our week together.
